Discovered by chance during a trip, Vie la Joie is a delightful surprise, an oasis of kindness and good cheer after two hours of highway mayhem. Just three kilometers from the tollbooth. A popular, family-run café-restaurant-grocery store, the kind you rarely see anymore. Delicious, hearty meals. Excellent value for money. The welcome and service are superb. There's a small parking lot right next door. Heading to Paris, I much prefer stopping here than at a highway rest area: a 10-minute round trip, but no waiting and a smile!
