From July 2026 L’Esquirou is truly one of the best dining experiences in Capbreton. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with genuine warmth, but what really makes this place exceptional is the incredible food created by Lucas and Émilie. Every dish is beautifully presented, full of fresh, high-quality ingredients, and packed with flavor. You can immediately tell that every plate is prepared with passion, creativity, and attention to detail. Whether you’re enjoying seafood, meat, or one of their seasonal creations, every bite is memorable. The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic, and the service is friendly without ever feeling rushed. Lucas and Émilie have created something special—a restaurant that combines outstanding cuisine with a welcoming, personal touch. If you’re in Capbreton, L’Esquirou is an absolute must-visit. A truly wonderful discovery, the kind you rarely make. We love discovering new restaurants, and it had been a long time since a restaurant had surprised us so much. Some ingredients I would never normally eat managed to completely change my mind over the course of a single dinner, and that's probably the highest compliment I can pay the cuisine. The dishes are precise, the flavor combinations particularly well thought out, with great finesse and a perfect balance. Nothing is there by chance. The wine pairing was also impeccable and added a real dimension to the experience. The service is just like the cuisine: warm, attentive, and just right, without ever being overbearing. And a special mention for the two desserts that perfectly concluded the dinner: delicate, indulgent, melt-in-your-mouth, and truly memorable. A genuine cuisine, a true identity, and above all, a place that immediately makes you want to return. A little gem, the kind we wish we could find more often in the region. Definitely not to be missed.

Honestly, one word: unforgettable. From the moment you walk through the door, you know you'll be treated like royalty throughout your meal. The welcome is warm and friendly, leaving you eager to see what's next. A very insightful wine recommendation allowed us to enjoy our dinner with an excellent glass. And the meal itself was divine. The cuisine is truly exceptional. Everything is prepared with love, and it shows. The dishes are bursting with flavor and finesse. Everything was exquisite. The advice given at the beginning of the meal proved spot on: two savory plates, one sweet, and you leave with a full stomach, even if you have a sweet tooth! Finally, I'd like to conclude by saying that this restaurant is a must-try and you absolutely must stop by. Don't misunderstand me from reading this review; I don't know the owner, hahaha. I simply want to acknowledge the investment the restaurant owners have put into the entire service to ensure we have a wonderful experience. This is a place run by passionate people who do their work with heart and a desire to do things well, and it shows, it's palpable, and it's felt. Thank you for this time spent in your company, which has left us with a delightful family memory. And go for it!!! You won't be disappointed. :)
