Waïda et Fils is much more than just a tea room: it's a veritable haven for gourmet treats, offering an impressive selection of products, many of which are homemade. Pastries, ice cream, chocolates, viennoiseries, and numerous other sweets... there's truly something for everyone, and it's hard to choose because everything looks so tempting! We particularly appreciated the quality of the products: they're fresh, indulgent, beautifully made, and above all, absolutely delicious. The homemade ice cream is excellent, and the pastries are as beautiful as they are tasty. The service also deserves special mention: the staff is very friendly, smiling, kind, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The setting is charming, and the establishment retains the authentic feel of a true Reims institution. An excellent place for a gourmet break, a coffee, an afternoon snack, or simply to treat yourself. We had a wonderful time and will gladly return on our next visit to Reims. I highly recommend this place!

Since moving to Reims five or six years ago, it's a place I always want to return to, for several reasons. First, there's the quality of the products. I don't know if you're familiar with many places like this, but Waida remains one of the few in Reims where everything is made on-site, from the bread and pastries to the cakes and savory dishes, which I'd like to discuss separately. Jérôme's cooking is a true art: flavorful and instantly recognizable. Each vegetable retains its taste, shape, and perfect texture. The sauces are sublime, and after all these years, he continues to impress me. Admittedly, the shop sometimes has issues with service, but I prefer to encourage them to improve so that places like this can continue to exist.

The food was good and the service was pleasant; no complaints there. However, we were a little disappointed by the lack of information regarding prices. We were immediately seated on the terrace without being told that there was a price difference between inside and outside (the terrace being more expensive). It's a shame, because with more transparency from the start, the experience would have been entirely positive.

I haven't tried their chocolate yet, but when it comes to pastries, they're just as good as any other bakery. Frankly, I'd say their pain au chocolat is excellent, and the service is superb. They're very accessible for people with disabilities, as they have a ramp, and they also give great advice.

A bakery and pastry shop not to be missed! Housed in an Art Deco building, the Waida family took over the pastry business in the 1960s. Today, the third generation continues to create chocolates and other delicacies in the basement or upstairs! Hurry there for Reims pink biscuits, chocolate rochers, fruit jellies, or bread.
