A loyal customer for years. Wasabi is a sure thing for me: the sushi is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The team is simply amazing. Cécile is incredibly pleasant, always smiling and welcoming—a true ray of sunshine. And Thibault is an exceptional sushi chef: precise, passionate, and talented, it shows in every bite. A friendly atmosphere, consistent quality, and a genuine focus on customer service. For me, it's clearly the best sushi bar in Nîmes. I recommend it 100%! 🔥🍣

I've been coming here for years and I realize I hadn't yet left a review, so I'm going to remedy that :) Wasabi is probably one of the best choices for enjoying sushi in Nîmes, and it's certainly my go-to: the quality is excellent and the price is truly affordable. While large chains and industrial producers try to sell us sushi of questionable quality, Wasabi has been here for a long time, offering an excellent, high-quality alternative. The menu selection allows for a very satisfying meal, and the chef's creations offer variety and can accommodate dietary needs (especially for vegetarians). The rice is always perfectly prepared, as are all the dishes, which are consistently high quality. For sushi, it's important to note that freshness is definitely a given. The service is quick and excellent, which is a major plus, especially considering the fresh products are made to order, and the staff remains available throughout the meal if needed. I've attached a photo I took of the "Okina" platter during a visit (my favorite platter). I'd also like to mention that the restaurant has a ramp making it wheelchair accessible, located just to the right. I thought it was important to point this out. After several meals at this establishment, I give it 5 stars without any hesitation. Parking is very easy, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, the cuisine uses very high-quality ingredients, and the staff are very friendly.
