I'm a regular customer at the store and appreciate the variety of products offered. However, one thing worries me. I never buy deli meats at Leclerc. But I gave in to temptation last Tuesday. I bought a dry sausage, a slice of vacuum-packed garlic pâté terrine, and some vacuum-packed slices of roast pork. We'd had a rough day and we succumbed to temptation. I must point out that all three items are perfect examples of industrial deli meats with a regrettable and unhealthy percentage of fat and salt. I threw all three away. Don't you think that your otherwise satisfactory and generally well-regarded store could, without prioritizing profit above all else, sign contracts with butchers and delicatessen owners who are concerned about the quality of their products and their taste and health benefits? No excessive amounts of fat! In the sausage, the fat is visible in the mince. It removes the taste of the meat and has a negative nutritional impact. A health study is necessary. I regularly shop at the Leclerc in Saint-Brevin (my last visit was on August 27th around 4 pm) and the difference is truly noticeable. You can tell the team is really attentive to customer feedback, the checkout process has improved significantly, reducing waiting times, and the flow of people through the aisles is much smoother. The store is clean, always well-stocked, and the prices remain very reasonable. The staff in the produce department are absolutely fantastic; they're very helpful.
