Yak sur Limoges

I wanted to try the lunch special advertised at €12.50. When I arrived, I was given the menu, but I didn't see the special on it, so I went to ask. The woman told me what was included, and I ordered it. Everything was excellent, piping hot, and well-seasoned—no complaints. At the end, they asked if I wanted dessert. Honestly, I wasn't very hungry anymore, but I asked anyway if it was included in the special. They said yes, so I ordered it anyway. When I got to pay, I realized the full special was actually €14.90. Okay, I paid; I wasn't going to quibble over €2.40. But I felt there was a lack of information. The special wasn't explained anywhere. Hence my one-star deduction.

Excellent and plentiful food. Repetitive Tibetan music. A very good experience for me. I will return.

Excellent, original cuisine, my favorite restaurant so far. If the service weren't so slow some evenings, I would give it 6 stars without hesitation.

Restaurant with two pleasant dining rooms. The food is good; I really enjoyed everything I tried, from the momos and turnovers to the spring rolls and ginger chicken. The staff are pleasant and friendly. It's good value for money. It's a top restaurant in Limoges. Making a reservation makes things much easier. Thanks to Yak

Tasting menu... very nice for a very reasonable price.

House non-alcoholic cocktail (Orange juice, pineapple, mango, lychee juice, grenadine syrup) -> very good. House cocktail (White wine, apple juice, white martini, gin, rose liqueur, soho, curaçao) -> very good. Nazom Drangtsel (Assortment of vegetable fritters made with chickpea flour) -> very good. Exotic assortment of chicken spring rolls, pork spring rolls, and vegetable samosas -> very good. Chicken curry -> very good! Duo of dumplings -> good! Tingmo (Saffron steamed buns) -> good! Tchasha marpo (Chicken stir-fry with red spices, onions, and garlic on a griddle) -> delicious. Plain rice -> very good. Ice cream sundae (Lemon and mango sorbet, fresh fruit, red berry coulis, whipped cream) -> very good! Chocolate lemon ice cream scoop -> very good. The decor is magnificent. The service was very pleasant and friendly. There's a wide selection, and I really enjoyed my meal. The portions are generous. The only downside is that the dining room could be a degree or two warmer.

Pleasantly surprised by the food, which was very good. The staff were very friendly. However, a little more attention to hygiene regarding the food and dishes would be appreciated, as well as the restrooms. But it was a pleasant experience.
