28/06/2024: Staying in Limoges for a night on our way to the Dordogne, we chanced upon a buzzy street with plenty of locals drinking and eating. Very attentive waiter and the food was excellent. Good prices too compared to more touristy areas. We will definitely be back!

15/07/2024: Very nice lunch on the terrace. Local and quality dishes offered. The staff took great care in offering me a tailor-made dish, not eating meat. The chocolate half-sphere, whipped cream with white chocolate, apricots and custard was perfect, delicious and fresh. On the other hand, we didn't like the peach and thyme tiramisu, which we pointed out during the bill, thanks to the boss for the commercial gesture.

15/07/2024: We stopped on our way to Orléans because it was close to the highway. Very good idea because excellent welcome, appetizers offered with our aperitif to keep us waiting. We then had fish which was a treat and I had a salad offered as a starter but which was super hearty and excellent. A very good white wine too. And for our little dog, a small bowl of fresh water too 😉. Don't hesitate to stop at this little restaurant, we are very well received there.

30/06/2024: Nous avions choisi cet établissement pour fêter un anniversaire et bien nous en a pris. Le déjeuner s'est déroulé en terrasse. Outre le cadre magnifique d'un parc avec des arbres centenaires qui descend en pense douce vers 2 lacs en contrebas, l'accueil et la cuisine y sont remarquables. Le personnel est attentif, sans être intrusif. Nous avons néanmoins profité d'une petite visite de l'épouse du chef comme il se doit dans les bonnes maisons. Le sommelier, si vous avez une oreille qui traîne (ce qui est souvent mon cas) parlait alors aux habitués de quelques petites pépites qu'il avait déniché; ce qui m'a permis de choisir un vin adapté au menu et "facile" comme il l'a décrit. Nous avions opté pour le menu "Ballade gourmande " en 4 temps. M. Dudognon sait s'y prendre en cuisine. Tout était parfait, les goûts et les textures : les ravioles à l'ortie et à la ricotta réhaussées d'oseille goûteuses à souhait, le rizotto aux asperges bien crémeux, le veau juste cuit avec un jus de truffe; et, pour terminer en beauté, un soufflé au Grand Marnier. Une promenade dans le parc a conclu ce beau moment, à renouveler.

25/04/2024: Ayant réservé une chambre luxe, qui nous a beaucoup plu, nous avons tenu à découvrir la cuisine du chef 1 étoile . Bien nous en a pris car, même si les prix sont vraiment élevés, nous avons pu savourer le très remarquable " intemporel pâté en croûte" ,et hautement apprécier " le soufflé au gin à l'immortelle "aussi délicat que goûteux.

29/06/2024: Rien à redire tout a été parfait. Service impeccable, viande excellente aussi bien le magret de canard que le bœuf cuit au feu de bois, un gratin dauphinois succulent. Vous serez aussi surpris par une déco très originale. Je recommande ce restaurant sans hésiter.

05/05/2024: Very pleasant setting and staff, top-notch cuisine. For 4 people €175 (4 aperitifs, 4 couscous, 4 desserts and 4 teas) the desserts are I find a little expensive for what they are, the ice cream is a scoop + whipped cream, the baklava is 1 baklava and 1 Turkish delight, for 8€ that's 4 euros a little bit.... it's okay it was good but next time we won't have dessert.

26/06/2024: De passage dans la région nous n avons pas hesite pour le clos des cèdres déjà apprécié les fois précédentes. Du renouveau dans le menu (entree+plat+dessert) et des mets toujours aussi savoureux et une présentation soignée. L accueil est vraiment sympathique De plus le restaurant a beaucoup de charme et du caractère avec une terrasse ombragée, geniale, car il faisait chaud. Petit plus, notre serveur nous a fait visiter les lieux. Promis on reviendra, c est trop.bien. .
