Inconsistent communication
I called to order food, and they told me it was dine-in only. Great, so I went there anyway. I was greeted coldly, and when I asked if they had yeet in the thieboudienne, they didn't even know what it was. So I ordered a Poke bowl, which turned out to be the only takeout option—because it was too small (!!!)—even though the restaurant was empty. They preferred to lose a customer rather than serve them at a table. Not very customer-friendly. So I left. I've never seen a restaurant so expensive. In short, a bad experience.
27/06/2026: We decided to try something different to the usual French brasserie Fayre.
We weren’t disappointed I had the Mafé it was a lot but I loved it. My mum had the fish - she said it was tasty although she’s not a fan of Tilapia (we should’ve checked before ordering).
If you’re in Cannes consider supporting a business off the croisette.

12/07/2026: Excellent service and a fantastic team! The food is superb and the setting is truly beautiful. We ate there twice and the experience was perfect each time: a warm welcome, delicious dishes, and a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant; we will definitely be back!
07/07/2026: My experience?! How can I put it?! Never had the "pleasure" of trying it out… We were refused an online reservation because we had a baby… so we tried our luck with a takeout order. The order was confirmed in the afternoon, then finally canceled by email at the last minute at 7:15 pm!
Since we're patient, we tried again 4 days later, and after 10 minutes of trying, the order was ultimately unsuccessful. A screenshot is attached.
I should also mention that takeout orders are cash only… We gave up and ordered a delicious couscous from a competitor, which was significantly cheaper and delicious.

03/03/2026: The owner is friendly, but it's very busy, especially during the week, so you need to be very patient. One person is needed.
16/01/2026: A truly warm and welcoming bar, where you feel at ease as soon as you walk through the door. The atmosphere is pleasant, perfect for spending quality time with friends or simply relaxing.
The person who runs the establishment is wonderful: always smiling, attentive, and caring towards her customers. You can feel her genuine passion and sincere desire to please. A place I recommend without hesitation and where I will gladly return!

15/06/2026: I placed an order on Uber Eats and frankly, I was outraged to receive my order in a black bag (the deguê and the bottle of water) and the lattike and the plantains in a white bag… no bag at all… nothing.
The lattike was packed in an aluminum bowl with two or three pieces of cucumber… It was dry, as was the chicken, which was TOUGH, very dry. No seasoning… no oil, no sauce… the deguê was barely digestible! The millet grains were rock hard! And a liquid (I don't know if it was milk or yogurt). In short… the taste, the presentation… the preparation. At least make the effort to present the products you sell in a more appealing way. It's disappointing.

31/08/2024: Pizzas, lasagna, burgers... Everything is excellent!
I'm a regular at the restaurant and it's not for nothing: the dishes are very good, the setting is friendly, the staff is very kind and professional, go there with your eyes closed, you won't regret it!
30/08/2024: The quality of the meals was great! Speed at the top! The only problem is the waitress's final remark (brown ponytail) which clearly turned on my husband! Asking her openly that if she agreed to take her bank card what did she get in exchange! (because we always play a game of who will pay for each other) there were 4 of us and I think she probably shouldn't not knowing it was my husband but it's still very cheeky.

21/07/2024: Perfect place for a healthy lunch. Huge portions, wide range of ingredients, very fair prices and pleasant atmosphere. Open until 15:00.
09/05/2024: To eat a fresh salad after a walk at the Château, it's ideal, the products are fresh and the honey mustard sauce is delicious.

Les samosas comme le plat UNIQUE sont UNIQUES.

13/08/2024: Un personnel non professionnel et irrespectueux envers les clients, un refus d’encaissement je cite " ous payez tous séparément t’facon c’est
même pas ma table j’vais chercher ma collègue" en soufflant et nous jetant l’addition sur la table, collègue elle même désagréable et non souriante. Ceci est inacceptable venant d’un commerce il faudrait revoir votre équipe au vu de l’emplacement de votre établissement.
