07/09/2026: It was simply fantastic, I have rarely sat so well in a one-star restaurant; in my opinion, one star in the Michelin Guide is not enough, this restaurant is definitely worth a longer detour.

We had a fantastic dinner at Berbere Restaurant this evening. From the moment we walked in, the owners were incredibly welcoming, lovely, and so patient with our truly awful French!
Neither of us had a starter, which turned out to be a wise choice because the portions are very generous—so much so that neither of us could quite finish our main courses. I had the couscous with meatballs, and my wife opted for the lamb shank. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor.
We will absolutely return the next time we are in town. Highly recommended!
