27/03/2026: Good and fresh food. The cook could adapt to my non lactose diet. We took the menu du jour, we were served very quickly. We couldn't book our table therefore we ended up in a small black corner.
20/03/2026: We had a wonderful time celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary with an impromptu lunch. The set menu was divine and the price more than reasonable. It just goes to show that fine dining is accessible to those on a budget, which is fantastic! We're delighted to have discovered this place and highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back as soon as we can. Thank you for your expertise and hospitality.

29/08/2024: Une jolie salle, ainsi qu'une cuisine fine et gouteuse font de ce lieu une étape fort recommandable.Juste un bémol concernant le service trop virevoltant pour etre efficace...
24/08/2024: La Huchette does good solid regional cuisine well, in a relaxing and unpretentious setting. It’s not going to blow your socks off with creativity or powerful flavours - it just about supports the Michelin star - but based on our experience you will have an enjoyable meal. We had the 5 courses for €75. Excellent amuse bouche at the start, and an unusual, seemingly steamed, bread roll with garlic butter. Decent cod pre-starter, and well crafted starters - slow cooked egg yolk, mousse and bits of veg for some, Charolais beef and beetroot for others. Our bresse chicken main was on the traditional side but came with a tasty morel sauce. It doubled as the “nugget” on the children’s menu. Desserts were OK. Staff very friendly, and quite a festive atmosphere inside. Not the awkward hush you still get in some restaurants around here. The pricing is largely as you would expect for a hotel restaurant with a star, but (a €14 kir aperitif aside) the extras are reasonably priced so the final bill doesn’t come with big surprises. Coffee for 2.50, 2 wines for 15, and so on. Children’s menu an acceptable €22. We didn’t stay at the hotel but it looks
