Chez Micheline Restaurant
Berny-Riviere
15/10/2026: Outstanding! Didier is a one man show and he certainly delivers. The food menu is limited but the taste and quality are exceptional. His sense of humour is highly entertaining. We went on a whim and before we left booked to come in two days time. If we are ever in the area again we will be sure to visit again. Thank you Didier!
02/10/2026: Excellent food, good wine, and the icing on the cake: the owner is incredibly kind, friendly, and cheerful. He made our evening with my mother, who was visiting the area for a few days, truly delightful.
I will gladly return.

Macao Beach Restaurant
Berny-Riviere
12/09/2026: Disappointing, especially for a Friday evening.
We arrived at 7:50 pm on Friday, September 11th. The staff politely informed us that they could no longer serve us because they were out of food, even though there were at most ten people on site.
Unfortunately, this gives the impression of poorly organized end-of-season management. Under these circumstances, it might be better to close the establishment earlier in the season rather than offer a service that can no longer be properly provided.
Especially since the hours listed on Google indicate a closing time of 11 pm, which is particularly misleading for customers.
A message to the campsite management: it would be highly advisable to take control of the selection and monitoring of the next managers.
It's a shame, because this type of situation damages the overall image of the campsite.
11/09/2026: Arrived at 7:30 PM and received a false message saying the service was over.
Very inconvenient for 18 people, a disgrace!
For a 5-star campsite

La Brasserie Macao
Berny-Riviere
09/08/2024: We ate here as a family of 6 for a break from caravan cooking. The food is okay with the desserts the best from the selection. Avoid the usual frogs legs, mussels and snails. The quality is poor and the other options on the menu are far better.
Don't expect good value for money. Everything is over priced including the specials. The service is also shocking. There are better options in nearby Vic-sur-Aisne.
30/07/2024: Disappointing, overpriced, very small dishes, Ravioli was more like a starter, slow service and few in the group complained of food not being warm.Requested Parmesan for tomato dish for kids and adults none available.
