Outstanding! Didier is a one man show and he certainly delivers. The food menu is limited but the taste and quality are exceptional. His sense of humour is highly entertaining. We went on a whim and before we left booked to come in two days time. If we are ever in the area again we will be sure to visit again. Thank you Didier!

Excellent food, good wine, and the icing on the cake: the owner is incredibly kind, friendly, and cheerful. He made our evening with my mother, who was visiting the area for a few days, truly delightful. I will gladly return.

We have recently been to the campsite at Bernay Riviereand have been going to Chez Mitch for many years every time we are staying at the campsite. Wouldn't miss a visit to Chez Mitch as the whole experience is just great. Didier is an excellent host/chef and each visit is a special experience. Looking forward to the next time!!

We visited as a table of 9 with 5 children under 7 years old. We popped by a few days in advance to book (in person, as we were staying up the road). We had frogs legs, snails and muscles to start - all fantastic. The children had pizzas (1 pizza fed two children) and nuggets. It does come with herbs on top - maybe ask not to have that if you've got a fussy child. Mains were enjoyable - all came with fries, which isnt how we would normally have these meals but it was simple and easy to eat. The owner was really lovely, funny and he does everything himself - including the cooking. His tip was well deserved and i would absolutely recommend. Also very reasonably priced!

This place may not look like much from outside but trust me this place is second to none, its hard to believe that this place is a 1 man operation, 100% would recommend to anyone in the area, he is a gentleman and a fantastic chef!!!!!!
