09/12/2023: Hello, I wanted to share my experience although I did not sleep in the establishment (I specify this because good faith is important in this story). Let me explain : 1) I book a week in advance, via Google, for a night in the guest room in July. The booking voucher is issued and it states that “arrival must be after 3:00 p.m. and departure before 11:00 a.m. the next day” and then nothing. 2) Arrives on the day of reservation, no contact made by the estate, and then at 8:00 p.m., phone call! Finally ! Then a lady begins the conversation in an extremely aggressive, even threatening voice, saying cash: “When were you planning to notify me of your arrival? “It’s the least correction to prevent.” Surprised, I thought it was a joke on his part, but no. I still understand his argument but I then retort “I’m sorry but we thought that this was an independent reception or that the reception was open continuously, what can we do? » 3) she then replies “I don’t know but I’ll close and you’ll manage, you’ll sleep under the stars, we’re not at your service! » always in the aggressiveness of a person apparently well worn and embittered in life (a shame when you do this profession of reception and service so aptly named! Cherry: no longer wishing to come, I tell her and she asks me then to cancel the reservation and bear the cancellation costs, something I refused. Then no more response from him. Shameful! Conclusion: Madam, if you are the manager of this establishment, transform it into a post office or a CAF branch because you meet all the criteria and have the perfectly well-rounded education to make a fortune in these areas and outperform the customer dissatisfaction as you are already struggling to do. In short, move on, we went to the hotel near Saint Michel and they received us... even at 1:00 a.m. :)

01/12/2023: We came at the end of November. We contacted the gîte at 9:45 a.m. to reserve a room. We arrived around 12:30 p.m. the room was not heated, it was the end of November and it was particularly cold this Tuesday, November 28. We are told of a heating problem which will be resolved as soon as we return from our walk because they are doing some work and the plumber is on site. We are asked to answer a questionnaire regarding breakfast. The boss explains to us that she must know what time we plan to get up so that she, too, can get up to prepare breakfast. We think we're dreaming! We are on vacation and do not have a particular time, it will be done according to our desires, fatigue or whatever. So she suggests 8:30 a.m. since they serve between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. anyway. We don't really understand but she explains to us that she's not nearly a quarter of an hour away, even if it's 8:45 a.m. she won't complain to us either... Then we have to say on the form if we want some bread 1 or 2 pieces, croissant 1 or 2 in short...how do we know if we will eat this or that thing the next day? We go for a walk and come back around 5 p.m. and SURPRISE the room is still not heated. The boss arrives and tells us that he is going to turn on the heating now because he didn't know what time we would be back!!! INCREDIBLE...we let customers freeze in the room for the modest sum of 140 euros, we wait for our return to finally heat up but if it costs that much don't open in low season. In the bathroom the towels are crumpled and everything becomes unpleasant for me. We stop there. We're packing up and we'll never come back. PS: to give a semblance of warmth when the landlady opened our freezing room she turned on the bathroom heating which was of no use.
