05/07/2025: Café Créole is absolutely my favorite place in Paris. Whether you go simply for an aperitif or for dinner, you can't help but be captivated by it. The atmosphere is wonderfully pleasant, carefully crafted in every detail without being excessive. It offers fantastic happy hour options, particularly those paired with their famous tapas.
The Caribbean Creole cuisine is a journey of taste experiences, and Café Créole accomplishes this magnificently. The food is sublime. The service is excellent, on par with a high-end restaurant - kind, friendly, and engaging. A special mention goes to the maître de salle and manager of the establishment who, with his charm and affability, makes this café-restaurant even more unique and exclusive. He told me his name is "Mad," but I believe it's more of a nickname that perfectly aligns with his quirky and cheerful personality.
Don't miss the rum selection at the end of your meal, another gem worth trying.

Everything was great and even better: a truly warm welcome, the kind you always wish you were received, top-notch, succulent and impressive Argentinian meats, superb desserts, and the wine (Clos des Siete, a wonderful discovery) was equally impressive. Go for it!

25/01/2026: I came for a birthday celebration, and no, I went to Favela Chic (information to be corrected on Google). It's a place where I have mixed feelings. The wait for a drink and to be served is unbearably long. Nevertheless, the food is good. I'm well aware that being in Paris means prices are a bit higher than usual, but the price, whether for cocktails or food, is more than high, especially considering the somewhat lacking service.
Beyond that, when the place gets lively with a DJ, the atmosphere is quite pleasant.
However, the music is far too loud when you're eating because you can't hear yourself think. It's still an address I would recommend, but the efficiency of the service really needs to improve.
24/01/2026: My opinion is rather mixed.
I came to celebrate my birthday. I really liked the decor and the food.
However, I agree with all the reviews regarding the quality of the service. The servers were very unresponsive; we were served an hour after we ordered. Chatting with the kitchen is fine, but taking care of your customers is better. We ordered a bottle of wine, they brought us the glasses. Then the waitress went to talk to the kitchen, and we had to ask again to get the wine.
Once you get past the restaurant area, the bar is quite nice, even if the atmosphere isn't great, except for the servers who get into arguments in front of customers and end up throwing ice cubes. 🫠 In short, if you have time to eat, I recommend it; if you want a place with a good atmosphere and efficient service, go somewhere else.

25/01/2026: We discovered this restaurant completely by chance; we were a group of four friends. The welcome was pleasant, and we waited patiently for a table. There was a great atmosphere; someone was celebrating their birthday. A singer came on to perform some iconic Latin songs, which was very well received, judging by how the other customers sang along. The birthday person even offered us a drink, and despite not speaking Spanish, I appreciated their kind gesture and their desire to share the moment with strangers.
The portions were very generous and delicious. In total, for four of us, the bill came to €113 (3 cocktails, 4 main courses, and 4 digestifs). Personally, I'm surprised by the previous negative reviews. It was a very pleasant surprise for us.

The dishes are good. And for dessert, I particularly recommend the Flan Coco… I have rarely eaten one so good 🤩😋!

06/09/2024: une cuisine délicieuse, au vrai goût "de là bas", une selection judicieuse de vins locaux, un service souriant et prévenant, des patrons cordiaux, prêts à partager des anecdotes avec les clients: une très bonne adresse, dans une salle intime et chaleureuse.
13/08/2024: Serveuse très sympathique. Seviche de poissons excellent. Plat au boeuf et poulet + maïs très bon. Et pour finir 2 boules de sorbets coco et mange délicieuses. Un ami a pris des empanadas aux épinards + fromage, puis le même plat et en dessert une génoise garnie de doulche de leche et il a aussi bien aimer. À refaire..''
