07/05/2024: I always take my pizzas to take away from De facto (the comfort at home after the big sport): we are always entitled to a nice and friendly little word from the super welcoming team before returning home to enjoy bonus a very wide choice of original non-alcoholic drinks which I appreciate. Very recently, some new desserts have tempted us 😋. Enjoy your meal and thank you to the whole team 👍🏼💙

06/04/2024: We knew this Italian restaurant with a reputation and its good value for money. We were not disappointed. We chose the menu (25€) for dinner Note, as a starter, the excellent mimosa-style eggs with Villefort trout mousse. A very nice spring pizza to follow and very good desserts. We took 1/4 of an Ardèche white (sauvignon) (good). The service was pleasant and the exchanges pleasant (a little bit slow). The setting of the vaulted cellar added to the pleasure. In the end, a good evening to end our stay at Les Vans.

03/04/2024: During my journey through the magnificent region of Ardèche, I let myself be tempted by a gourmet stop at "Le Poivre d'Âne", an establishment where the promise of a culinary symphony is felt as soon as you cross the threshold. The starter, a bold composition, was presented to me in a dark setting which brought out the green and red nuances of the crunchy vegetables, accompanied by a delicately placed piece of meat, like a contemporary work of art. The finesse of the taste revealed by each mouthful was an invitation to a sensory journey, where the freshness of local products intertwines with the audacity of a resolutely modern cuisine. The main course was a spectacle for the senses, a dazzling palette of textures and colors presented on orange porcelain reminiscent of the shimmering hues of Ardèche sunsets. The tender flesh of the fish, enhanced by a deliciously crispy crust, was accompanied by earthy notes of a delicate puree and mysterious black crumbs whose umami flavor coated the palate. As a climax, the dessert was a masterpiece of indulgence. The chocolate fondant, constructed in a precarious balance of elegance and depth, was punctuated by fruity accents, drops of passion embodied by a ruby ​​jelly. Small dumplings of cream, like pearls of sweetness, brought a creamy richness dissipating into a silky finish in the mouth. "Le Poivre d'Âne" has been able to weave, from local products, a culinary weft where each thread testifies to unparalleled know-how, respect for authentic flavors and a ceaseless quest for perfection. A treat for the soul as much as for the mind, an appointment not to be missed for any gourmet seeking to exalt the senses.

05/04/2024: We are often passing through the region, and it is always a pleasure to eat in this restaurant. The people are very friendly and smiling. Quality/price very good.

31/03/2024: Today we were guests at “Le Roadster” with 5 people and 2 dogs. We were very impressed by the friendly welcome, the delicious food and the ambience. The prices were not excessive. Behind the bar, separated from the dining room, is a friendly dog. 2 parrots and 1 cat are also guests here. There was a drinking bowl for our dogs. The menu and daily menu are in French. We were also presented with an English copy of the menu. The service was very friendly, courteous, humorous and had everything on hand. You could say that you can also experience some entertainment here. Our special requests were implemented to our delight and if we had had more time, we would have also played on the billiards table at the bar. We would love to come back and can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!!!

02/04/2024: An exceptional experience! This restaurant is a real gem. Chef Cyril and his wife Hea provide that rare combination of fine-dining quality food in a warm, welcoming and relaxed environment. The menu has exciting, innovative dishes to explore and the service is impeccable. I wish I lived closer to this place to go more often! I'll certainly be returning next time I'm in the area.
