10/12/2025: We ordered a platter of 120 sushi pieces for a birthday, and everything was absolutely perfect!
The presentation was elegant and generous, the fish was impeccably fresh, and each piece was delicious. Special mention goes to Nam, whose kindness and professionalism truly made all the difference.

07/01/2026: After days spent eating expensive, continental food, if one needs something flavourfully spicy, from the orient, reasonably priced and away from the pretentious center of Cannes, then this is the place for you.
Authentic cuisine, street-side atmosphere, middle-class pretence (it's still Cannes) and service that's fitting to a "Chinese" restaurant.

28/10/2025: Miki Ramen 🍜 — a great find! Fresh, tasty and consistently good food. Well located and perfect for a quick meal without compromising on quality. The menu is varied enough and really satisfying for a casual bite.
18/09/2025: As a vegetarian I ordered a vegetarian curry dish and in my second or third bite had chewed on beef. The server took it back quickly but she was sent back with the dish saying the chef confirmed it’s a vegetarian dish and that the piece of meat went there by accident. I requested to cancel and asked for the vegetarian gyoza instead, which were super oily but still edible and most importantly-didn’t contain beef…
There was no apology and when we asked for the bill, someone who may be one of the owners, highlighted how they didn’t charge for the cancelled dish.
Two important lessons are recommended for this restaurant - 1) train your employees to make sure vegetarian dishes contain no meat 2) when you make a mistake, the least you can do is apologise.

10/02/2026: The servers are incompetent; they only seem interested in offering drinks to minors at the bar instead of serving regular customers. I see that many reviews echo this sentiment, so I'm addressing management directly: "If you want to maintain a certain reputation, don't remain amateurish; this has become the Saturday night party scene." Avoid at all costs!
30/01/2026: The bar before us refused entry because we were "only allowed in if we were 20 or older." We were a group of four very well-dressed and polite girls in heels, aged 19 and 20. A tall, bearded man turned us away in a haughty manner. I think a simple bar in Cannes (being from Cannes and used to going out in town) shouldn't allow itself to behave like that; it's deplorable. It's no wonder the average age of this bar is so high... avoid it!

We arrived one hour early because our hotel apartment was not ready. So we borrowed the chairs outside.
We were warmly welcomed by the staff 30 minutes later. We ordered a delicious evening meal. 3 different choices as we all have our preferences. Everything fresh. Meat, noodles and rice. I got extra 🌶️ chili. Strong and fresh.
After a long day driving more than 500 km this was like being treated in an expensive restaurant. The difference is that this is an affordable eating place with healthy food.
Later in the week I tried alternative places on same street. No comparison in the way I enjoyed Pagoda.
2023:
We tried two other nearby eating places for variation, but this is the only place where I feel good after eating. We had soup, wok and rice. Thank you for healthy and delicious food.
2022:
This place deserves a Michelin star. I would have liked to give it 6 Google stars.
We had soup, noodles and chicken with a touch of Thai curry.
The family running this business since 1999 are very friendly and helpful to advice.
The food ingredients are fresh and cooked by professionals. Healthy cooking with vegetables and not too much oils.
Thanks to this place I got to eat wok with noodles with a unique taste.
A couple of hours later my stomach was in a good shape. It had suffered from nearby fast food since the weekend.

In the evening we could not resist. We bought takeaway beef and shrimps. Cooked rice in hotel apartment. Yet another perfect meal. Amazing.
Next evening we also came back to eat Ramen and Phou soup. Ordered Sushi to eat in the hotel balcony. The gentleman serving gave me extra fresh chili as I like 🔥 food.
Conclusion: We live like kings in Pagoda Restaurant.
07/09/2024: Meals at the table, unprofessional waiter (does not bring sauces and condiments), small and not very tasty sushi (dry rice) ultimately expensive for what it is

13/06/2024: Très bon restaurant, service très agréable. Cependant nous avons trouvé cela cher, comptez minimum 50 € pour 2 plats basiques que vous paierez 3 fois moins cher en Corée... Mon amie coréenne était surprise des tarifs pratiqués.
29/04/2024: Il locale è piccolo e accogliente (unica cosa fastidiosa è la porta scorrevole che rimane sempre un po' aperta facendo entrare il freddo. Il servizio è ottimo, tutti i camerieri sono stati gentili e pronti raccontando il piatto usando anche un buon inglese. Unica cosa per me negativa il fatto che non ci sia quasi niente di vegetariano o vegano. Sarebbe bello introdurre nel menu alcune alternative tipiche orientali ma vegetali.
