25/03/2026: Generous portions, a little taste of Italy, while also experiencing French cuisine with the superb 300g ribeye steak. Everything is homemade, the service is very pleasant, there's a bit of a wait but it's still reasonable. The only downside is that the restaurant is noisy if you're on the first floor. Good value for money considering the portion sizes!

07/03/2026: My companion and I happened in for lunch after our intended destination was unexpectedly closed. What a happy accident! I admit I know nothing about the food of the region, and I speak no French (my companion speaks some.) The server (who I assume was the owner) was helpful and very kindly accommodating of our ignorance. The food was amazing!!! And clearly prepared from scratch with love. A meal I will remember for a very long time!!

10/04/2026: An exceptional place. A magnificent site which, after a few years of closure, has been completely renovated. The lobby is majestic with its chandeliers, high ceilings, and marble. The staff is incredibly attentive. Friendly and smiling! The breakfast is enormous but a bit pricey at 54 euros. In any case, in this category, all prices are high. I treated myself to a Coca-Cola at the bar for 14 euros. Served with olives, crisps, and cashews. The room was comfortable. The bed was enormous. Thick carpeting on the floor. Bathroom with shower and bathrobes. Numerous toiletries were available. Around 3 p.m., they leave some homemade treats for you to enjoy in your room. They prepare you for the night before you go to sleep by making up your bed, closing the curtains, and placing a small bottle of water on your bedside table. And, if you please, your pajamas folded at the edge of the bed! I was lucky enough to have a sea view. There's an outdoor (heated?) infinity pool in the central garden. Inviting sun loungers surround the pool. Soft background music plays, and the garden is beautifully decorated with greenery and relaxation areas. And above all... lots and lots of marble. An exceptional place. After that, it's hard to go back to normal life!

18/03/2026: We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. They even found and arranged the return of my forgotten shoes, which I truly appreciate. Highly recommended!

17/03/2026: A world-renowned 5-star palace located on the Croisette in Cannes. While the prices are certainly high, the services justify the cost. It's a must-visit at least once.

14/03/2026: One of the absolute best meals we had during our stay in Cannes. The seafood linguine was outstanding – easily one of the best we’ve ever had. A small, authentic restaurant with incredibly warm and welcoming owners that made the whole experience feel genuine and special. During MIPIM week many restaurants in Cannes adjust their prices for the influx of visitors, so it was especially refreshing to find a place that still felt honest, relaxed and truly authentic. Highly recommended if you want a great meal and a true neighborhood restaurant atmosphere.

13/03/2026: An absolutely remarkable experience at Sens restaurant. We ate on the terrace and everything was perfect. The dishes were delicious, with surprising and perfectly executed flavor combinations that truly stood out from the ordinary. The cuisine was exquisite, refined, and full of creativity. Each plate was a true delight for the taste buds. An exceptional moment in a very pleasant setting. We will definitely be back! ⭐️✨

01/04/2026: We ate at this little restaurant in Cannes. We always passed by it but had never had the chance to go in. I had paccheri with nduja and burrata sauce, and my colleague had paccheri with sausage and mushrooms. Delicious!! Wine, appetizer, meat main course, and dessert. Everything was truly excellent, quality ingredients, and excellent service! Thanks to the whole team and to Mirko for his hospitality. We'll definitely be back.

22/03/2026: The staff are very friendly, the portions are generous, and the service is quick. We ordered a Milanese-style veal cutlet and a duck breast with gratin.

15/03/2026: We had lunch at le Dauphin. The food was decent, but nothing special. I was so looking forward to a bowl of muscles but that too was a bit bland. The table hadn’t been wiped, there was still tomato sauce from yesterday. The server was pleasant with us but then got into an argument with another table. Price wise, it was ok. Especially for the day special. Nice looking plate of fish with dessert.

31/03/2026: A very convincing wine cellar. Almost exclusively Burgundy, and that's perfect! The selection is wide and covers all budgets, from simple and accessible wines to more ambitious bottles. You immediately sense that you're dealing with connoisseurs. The advice is precise without being intrusive (which is rare these days with all those wannabe pros who talk about natural wines all day long), and makes you want to come back and explore further. The spirits selection complements everything nicely, and the cellar is well-stocked. You can take your time to look, compare, and chat. The place feels more like entering a winemaker's cellar than a simple shop. It's not quite Saint Vincent's Day, but almost. All that's missing is an egg meurette to make the experience complete. A solid address for anyone who loves Burgundy and is looking for a serious, lively, and well-run establishment. I'll be back and I highly recommend it!

07/01/2026: Thank you again!! I always feel completely confident in my choice of wines. The various wines you recommended to accompany our holiday meals were enjoyed by the whole family. Mathieu has genuine expertise and some fantastic bottles that you don't find everywhere!!

12/04/2026: We had a wonderful stay. The service was fantastic and the rooms were spacious & modern. The location on La Croisette is perfect, right in the heart of Cannes. Everything was within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

12/04/2026: Our stay at the JW Marriott Cannes was perfect in every way. From arrival to checkout, the service was truly impeccable. The hotel offers valet parking, which was ideal for our arrival by car. The luxury suite with a balcony and sea view that we stayed in left absolutely nothing to be desired. I also highly recommend booking a table at the Scalini restaurant located in the hotel. The food and atmosphere were outstanding. We will definitely be back!

13/04/2026: A very disappointing experience at Fouquet’s Cannes, clearly not up to the advertised standard. I was staying at the Majestic Barrière and had dinner at Fouquet’s with friends. Before ordering, I very clearly asked the waitress if the €68 pasta was al dente. I specified that I don't like overcooked pasta and that I would send it back if it wasn't cooked properly. She confidently replied that it was, adding that the chef was Italian. The result: the pasta arrived overcooked. So I sent it back, which seemed perfectly reasonable given the price and the prior discussion. Then I was told that the chef was offended and refused to remake the dish, and that I had to order something else. This is unacceptable, especially in an establishment of this caliber. The waitress then informed me that the dish would be removed from the bill since I hadn't eaten it. So I ordered a chicken supreme instead. It took ages to arrive, just like the dish of one of my friends, who was served much later. And when my dish finally arrived, another disappointment: dry, overcooked chicken. But the worst was yet to come. When I asked for the bill, I noticed that the €68 pasta was still on the list, even though I had been clearly told it had been removed. So, without checking, I would have paid for a dish that was botched, uneaten, and that the chef had refused to remake. Between the botched cooking, the chef's attitude, the poorly managed service, the inconsistent delivery times, and the bill error, the experience was a disaster from beginning to end. At this price point, it's unacceptable.
