19/08/2026: "Hidden Gem" alert in Cannes! Here, the banh mi is TRULY exceptional. Tried and tested by my Vietnamese family and myself. We traveled from Lyon, and Houumy was definitely on our list of places to try at least once in a lifetime. Because, yes, banh mi...I know a thing or two. After trying them in Lyon, Paris, and Vietnam...the Houumy version is one of the most authentic I've tasted so far. It has all the ingredients that make this famous Vietnamese sandwich so successful, a sandwich I've been devouring since childhood: generous and perfectly seasoned meat, a good amount of pickled carrots, cilantro, fresh cucumbers, just the right amount of mayonnaise...all carefully wrapped in a baguette. Bravo! This banh mi even delighted the most discerning Vietnamese palate I know: my mother's. A special mention for the lovely welcome, the smiles, and the attention to detail that's so important: before picking up my order, I received a text message from the Houumy team who wanted to make sure everyone liked the coriander before adding it to the banh mi. What more could you ask for?

03/07/2026: We stopped by for an afternoon drink while strolling through Cannes, and it ended up being one of our favorite stops. The staff warmly welcomed us into the hotel and escorted us to the beautiful garden patio, even though we weren't staying at the hotel. The cocktails were some of the best I had during my trip, and the service was friendly and attentive. I'd definitely recommend stopping by for a drink if you're in the area!

11/07/2026: We went to the beach club and had lunch. Our waitress Maud went above and beyond. They even spritz us with Evian during our lunch to keep us cool. The lunch was fantastic and we had the absolute best food and time. Grateful for phenomenal service 🥰🥰

27/07/2026: For Marseille, I think this is one of the best pan bagnats you can find. However, there are several drawbacks. For me, it's not a true Niçoise pan bagnat. First of all, "pan bagnat" literally means "wet bread." The problem mainly stems from the bread used: it's too soft to begin with. Once soaked, it becomes far too soggy and loses the texture that gives a real Niçoise pan bagnat its charm, traditionally made with a more rustic bread and a firmer crust. It also lacks certain ingredients that contribute to the authenticity and success of a true Niçoise pan bagnat. Ultimately, it's a good sandwich, and in Marseille, it's one of the best places to find it. However, if you're looking for the true taste and texture of a traditional Niçoise pan bagnat, this one falls a bit short.

26/05/2026: Had an experience with front desk. Upon realizing they had erred with my parking arrangements, instead of apologizing or acknowledging the mistake, front desk staff was dismissive and stated what was the big deal- I’d just be paying a few more euros. I was surprised by the response - obviously a few euros is something I could cover, but the reaction was rude and condescending. Very inappropriate response to a guest. Just acknowledge the mistake - don’t brush it away as unimportant. Arthur/Anton could use some more training on how to handle guest services.

18/08/2026: The restaurant is quite small: there are tables to sit inside but also you can take away. The staff is friendly. I ordered mixed plate with 5 starters. 18.- euro. The taste was good, but overpriced. The mixed grill meat plate 28.- euro. The portion was big, taste good but rather expensive. I can recommend this place.

18/08/2026: I had the pleasure of organizing a ladies’ gathering at Belle Plage Hôtel & Spa in June, and it was a wonderful experience. We loved the elegant and aesthetic atmosphere, the excellent drinks selection- especially the matcha as well as the delicious healthy dishes and sushi. A special thank you to Vera, Event & Group Manager, for her kind help and attention in organizing our gathering. Everything was beautifully arranged, and we truly enjoyed our time at Belle Plage. Looking forward to organizing another event at Belle Plage in September!

18/08/2026: My husband and I booked the experience together, and honestly, it wasn't worth the price at all. Firstly, we didn't have access to the sensory area. When I asked why, the masseuse told me, "What's included in the price is the whirlpool bath, the massage, and the tasting." Fine, I didn't push it. We'd been looking forward to this moment for a long time, hoping to unwind a bit. The whirlpool bath was pleasant, but ultimately it's just a bathtub. The massage was okay, but very formal, with no interaction before, during, or after. As for the tasting, we received a glass of champagne and... vegetable juice! It was described as petit fours, depending on the season, well... with a glass of champagne, that's not what you expect. Furthermore, we weren't told what it was, so we assumed it was cucumber... it wasn't bad, but not appropriate. Finally, after 15 minutes, one of the masseuses knocked on the door to tell us that when we were finished, we could leave immediately... in short, we felt a bit rushed out the door. So, really very expensive for the service. It wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't up to the price or what one expects from an establishment of this caliber.

08/08/2026: We had a lovely evening! Our waiter was very nice and engaging and helpful. We sat inside and they had AC and interesting art. And most importantly the food was delicious, high quality, good portions, and well priced.

08/09/2026: A warm welcome from Pierre Olivier, top-notch food from the excellent chef Andrea. Go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed. My husband and I truly enjoyed this restaurant. We had lunch there, and everything was fresh and delicious. The service was wonderful. It's in the old town, but close to all the action. A restaurant just the way we like it: fresh ingredients, a friendly welcome from Catherine and Andrea, the attentive chef! And all at an excellent price. The daily special and the rib of beef for two made for a very enjoyable meal. The cuisine was of very high quality (certainly deserving of a Michelin star very soon) in a very pleasant atmosphere. Chef Andrea even came to share a last drink with us. Well done to him!

06/09/2026: Staying in Cannes this weekend, we went to Côté Marché because my sister had recommended it. What can I say, except that everything was PERFECT. A warm and friendly welcome. A menu that whets your appetite, truly delicious and generous cuisine. We could tell that all the food was prepared with fresh ingredients and that the whole team was passionate about their work. So what more can we say? THANK YOU to the lady who served us, discreet and efficient, THANK YOU to the owner for his warm welcome and enthusiasm, and THANK YOU to the chef and his assistant for this delicious and generous cuisine. We will be back, The folks from L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue 😉

The dishes were delicious, with surprising and perfectly executed flavor combinations that truly stood out from the ordinary. The cuisine was exquisite, refined, and full of creativity. Each plate was a true delight for the taste buds. An exceptional moment in a very pleasant setting. We will definitely be back! ⭐️✨

26/07/2026: Had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Seating is well laid out giving plenty of space to allow people to pass and not eavesdrop on other people's conversations. The chairs are comfortable and the table allows room for as much food and drinks as you'd wish to order. It's very nice to be overlooking the louge chairs on the beach and a bit of a sea view as there's so much going on. Food and drinks were excellent with huge portions. Everything felt very fresh, tasted delicious and looked well presented. Staff were pretty over-worked but generally attentive.
