07/01/2026: September 22, 2025 - I stumbled upon this restaurant online while passing through Besançon, a city completely shut down on Sundays and Mondays. I was blinded by the reviews from trendy, eco-conscious customers who claimed it was an excellent restaurant, praising both the friendly service and the delicious food, etc., etc.
The waitress asked us to confirm that we would vacate our table before 9 pm, as we had a reservation for 7 pm. At that moment, we truly thought we had found the Holy Grail. In fact, we had found it the previous evening at Pitaya Thai Street Food, located about a 7-minute walk away on Rue des Granges. Believe it or not, they both serve the same Asian-inspired dishes, such as spicy Indian curries, teriyaki fish, and Thai cuisine. The difference is that the rich, organic-loving hipsters go to Petit Atelier to spend more, while the rest of the working class goes to Pitaya Thai Street Food to save money on the same dishes, and Pitaya doesn't kick you out for a while.

11/10/2025: My opinion may not be objective because I go there regularly, or order from them at least once a week.
First of all, the products are "fresh," and you'll quickly notice that the spring rolls aren't frozen.
I also take my hat off to the restaurant team; there are two of them! And even though it's often full, the quality of the food is always consistent!
I recommend it, and I understand why you have to make a reservation or ask to be served on time. Don't forget... there are only two of them managing the kitchen and service.

14/03/2026: What a pleasure to see so much variety of sushi! I go there frequently and enjoy it every time. However, I find the staff at the wok station not very friendly. That's not the main problem, though: every time I ask for my meat medium-rare, it's either overcooked or rare. So I end up having to throw the meat away…

22/09/2024: We were looking for something light and this fitted the bill! We read the reviews and headed out to find it, tiny little place with majority of seating outside. The food was really tasty, very authentic and the team were friendly and efficient in their service

Nous nous sommes régalés de brochettes sauce Stay et rouleau de printemps.
Puis Pad Thaï aux crevettes et wok nouilles légumes au boeuf.
Tout est ultra frais.
L'équipe est très accueillante et sympathique.
N'hésitez pas à vous arrêter et à déguster sur place ou à emporter.
