02/04/2026: Today I found the Asia box from a few years ago... the pieces of beef are back in the spicy beef!!!! No more tiny bits drowned in the onions (you could really look for them).. I appreciate finding this quality again and so does my husband. Continue with this goal. We are loyal customers.

22/03/2026: Never disappointed, everything is top-notch, from the service and welcome to the products and the food! Warm restaurant, very good food! One of my favorite places.

18/11/2025: Best Asian restaurant in Bordeaux in terms of value for money! And the food is excellent! Obviously, the ingredients aren't top-of-the-line, but given the prices, it's justified. There's a wide selection, and it's never disappointing! Always delicious. The bo bun is particularly good, perhaps my favorite in Bordeaux. And thank you to the staff for making this restaurant such a welcoming place! You'll always receive a warm welcome, and the owner won't hesitate to give you little gifts :) I've missed this restaurant since it closed for renovations. I'm really looking forward to the reopening.

16/03/2026: Had been meaning to try this for some time as it looked lovely. Very disappointed. Only one other table in the restaurant but service very lacklustre and only delivered us one main dish instead of two. It was not hot but lukewarm. As the dish was described as being Thai Basil but contained no Thai basil at all (basically onions, red peppers and chillies) we asked the server about this instead of apologising she said it was in the sauce. This was not correct there was no greenery at all in the dish. We were sorry we went and will not go back

02/05/2026: Order placed and confirmed on the website, but upon arriving at the restaurant, a sign read "Closed for vacation." Don't use the web if you can't keep your website up to date. Awful.

19/04/2026: It's become a habit to eat at PhanPhan. It's our little treat! The flavors are always amazing, and the staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. I love it, I highly recommend it. My favorite is the Pho!

20/02/2026: Takeaway. Very disappointed, despite being regular customers. Various spring rolls and prepared dishes, a bit of everything: caramelized pork, lemon beef, curry, lemongrass chicken (we were still looking for the lemongrass)... everything was very bland and tasteless, the portions were too small. We won't be going back. A real disappointment.

09/04/2026: No taste whatsoever, neither for the spring rolls nor for the seafood noodles (just a few shrimp).... Disappointed!

06/03/2026: Still as good as ever! As a local resident, I highly recommend Bol de riz; generous portions, fast service, and charming staff.
