25/11/2023: Small restaurant with simple decor in an old building, so zibro heating but a very good cook and pleasant person. We had several takeaway meals. Very hearty and tasty for a reasonable price. I recommend and especially for my Dutch friends

12/11/2023: While passing through Sete, I fell in love with Balinese cuisine and luckily for my two friends there was a Mediterranean menu. The cuisine is clearly Balinese so the subtle flavors are sweet. Please note, it is possible to ask for chili on the side for fans of sensation. My guests' pasta carbonara made me want it, they took it in a doggy bag to finish it and not waste it.

26/03/2024: Restaurant discovered on the TheFork application fortunately we benefited from a -50% off-menu offer on the menu because the restaurant did not live up to our expectations. Waitress really not welcoming or smiling, very insistent on taking orders even though we have only just arrived and what's more, she doesn't know the menu when we ask two questions. It is extremely hot inside and there is very little space between tables. When we arrived there were 3 tables of 2 people, one of them was at the end and left shortly after. We waited more than 1 hour to have our dishes, plus surprises when the wok sanghai arrived, ingredients not indicated on the menu but in the dishes and others indicated which were not there. I take it to the waitress who tells me I'll find out, they tell me it's normal, it's the basis of all woks, I would have liked to know that from the start but it's not marked on the menu. For the rest, I am told that I am wrong. I bring it up again at the time of the addition because I am sure of myself and then the cook tells me, oh well, I was wrong. So apart from the parmesan pesto pasta which is good the rest is good but nothing crazy. The flavors of the wok are good overall but too spicy and it is not specified either. The base of the woks should be written on the card at least for allergens and for people's tastes. you have what the chef wants to serve you by feeling and you have to do with it and you have nothing to say. Once not twice. I don't recommend.

17/03/2024: I rarely leave mixed reviews usually. But the person who served us asked us to leave a review. So I'm going to do it this time. My partner and I went to try Le Newyorkais because we wanted to discover new restaurants. Thanks to an offer on The Fork platform, we could benefit from -50% on a selection of products in this restaurant. First surprise when you arrive there: desserts are not included in the reduction. It was indicated on The Fork "excluding menus and drinks", but not "excluding desserts". The setting is nice. We really liked the decoration of the small terrace. We started by ordering a smoothie which, despite its high price, was honestly delicious. We then ordered a pasta dish each: pesto and salmon. The prices of these dishes were 13€ and 17€ respectively. And that's where it gets stuck, especially for the pesto: paying €13 for 100g of penne with pesto and parmesan seemed much too expensive for the quantity offered. Luckily we had The Fork discount. And again, even at half price, I found it expensive. As for me, I finished my meal elsewhere 🫤 The people who took care of the service that day were quite friendly. That, we must admit :) I also give them the benefit of the doubt, because they indicated twice that "the chef (cook) was not there at lunchtime". There is a student menu for €9 on the menu which seems a little more interesting. However, the big downside regarding the quality/quantity/price ratio of the main course persists. And the main course is still essential in a meal.

16/12/2023: Delicious experience! The variety of dishes was impressive, the flavor is authentic and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were welcoming. I recommend this place for a memorable Asian dining experience!!

29/03/2024: Unpretentious Asian cuisine but excellent value for money. For €12, you have a plate with starter, salad and main course (Asian of course).
