02/12/2025: Proud resident of Marpsich since birth. I used to go there with my family, happy as a clam to sit at the Spring Lake… I'm writing this message in the parking lot of that bygone idyll. A buffet worthy of a clumsy teenager reheating a plate of pasta left by his single mother after her midweek outing… Slimy swamps have formed, the sauces so frozen in time. Are they, too, made of marble in the face of the pervasive desolation emanating from this buffet? One thing is certain: the Zahn family won't find the One Piece; the golden age of culinary piracy is over for this family, hardened by life. As for the service, human warmth wouldn't even be detectable by the most advanced thermal imaging on the market. Let's finish with the highlight of the show: desserts! Sweet breadsticks, old coconut balls, and other ice creams dug out from the back of the cupboard, surely dating back to their heyday (I can't imagine any sane person being tempted, even then).
