04/05/2026: Honestly, we were very disappointed with our visit to this restaurant.
The only positive point was definitely the staff: they were pleasant, no complaints there 👍
However, the food… that's another story. The quality was really poor. The dishes seemed stale, tasteless, and some were even downright sickening. The experience quickly turned unpleasant: my brother even got sick after the meal 🤒
From then on, no one at the table dared to eat anymore; we looked at each other, wondering whether to continue or not… and that, in a restaurant, is definitely a major red flag.
We won't be back.

Having visited a few years ago, I'm still just as satisfied and I highly recommend this restaurant.
29/06/2026: Dragonfly is excellent. It's well located in the tourist area of Amneville. We like to come here before or after a movie, a visit to the zoo, or a visit to Villa Pompeii.

13/06/2026: Eating in a cellar is something special! Disappointed by the menu of the day, ordinary and not very tasty.
05/06/2026: My partner and I had a lovely time.
The starter was spring rolls, followed by a Thai beef and basil dish—the meat was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. Then came a stir-fried pork dish with sweet and sour sauce, served with vegetables, rice, and shrimp paste... A real feast! Of course, we enjoyed a glass of red and white wine for my wife.
Simply perfect!
Thank you to the chef, the waiter, and the manager! 👍😁

20/07/2026: A disaster. The food was awful, the buffet was empty, I thought I was in a school cafeteria at first (although cafeteria food is usually pretty good). Everything was old, from the plates to the furniture... and there was an unpleasant smell in the food. The drinks were lukewarm... no, really, avoid this place at all costs!!!

07/07/2026: I'm a regular at this restaurant, especially for takeout, which is excellent (quality, very fast service).
However, we dined at Chammie Sushi on a Monday evening, and the service left much to be desired. The staff seemed overwhelmed even though the restaurant was practically empty, and some employees were quite unpleasant. Dishes took almost an hour to arrive, others were forgotten, we had to repeatedly ask for our order to be served, and some plates were cold because they'd been left on the counter for too long... all of this was met with an irritated response from the waiter.
I don't recommend dining in; opt for takeout instead.
16/06/2026: Great for sushi, however, the steamed appetizers take an extremely long time to arrive, and the hot dishes like stir-fried noodles or fried rice are swimming in oil. I know you need a fair amount of oil to cook in a wok, but this is a bit much. I recommend it for sushi, maki, etc., but not for anything else.

13/05/2026: Honestly, it's not what it used to be! Not only is there not much choice, but what little there is isn't even fresh. Almost €30 per person with a drink, and you leave feeling sick?! It's shameful, or rather, I should say, disgusting in every sense of the word.

And even if you arrive late, they offer to continue serving you at the grill

29/06/2026: With this intense heat, I thought I'd be able to eat in the cool, but frankly, it was unbearable. I asked if they had a problem with the air conditioning, and they told me no, the air conditioning was working and that it was because of the buffet. I found that strange, especially since it was cooler outside when I finished eating and we left.
Honestly, I'm very disappointed.
Yet I used to go to this restaurant often. As a result, I won't go back until the temperature inside is more comfortable. It was so difficult to stay at the table to eat during the meal. It's a real shame.
21/06/2026: I love this restaurant, exceptional value for money. The dishes are simple but fresh, personally I enjoy myself every time I come.

26/07/2026: Disgusting, excuse my language, but it was most likely leftovers from the day before. Furthermore, we arrived at 9 pm, the restaurant closes at 10:30 pm, there wasn't much left, and they didn't even refill the trays even though we paid the same price as everyone else! At 10 pm, they started mopping the floor. We wanted to get dessert, but they told us we had to wait for it to dry, while at the same time they were starting to turn off the lights. In short, we paid a lot for mediocre quality and service that leaves much to be desired. Don't go there if you want to eat well without being disgusted.

02/12/2025: Proud resident of Marpsich since birth. I used to go there with my family, happy as a clam to sit at the Spring Lake… I'm writing this message in the parking lot of that bygone idyll. A buffet worthy of a clumsy teenager reheating a plate of pasta left by his single mother after her midweek outing… Slimy swamps have formed, the sauces so frozen in time. Are they, too, made of marble in the face of the pervasive desolation emanating from this buffet? One thing is certain: the Zahn family won't find the One Piece; the golden age of culinary piracy is over for this family, hardened by life. As for the service, human warmth wouldn't even be detectable by the most advanced thermal imaging on the market. Let's finish with the highlight of the show: desserts! Sweet breadsticks, old coconut balls, and other ice creams dug out from the back of the cupboard, surely dating back to their heyday (I can't imagine any sane person being tempted, even then). Wishing you a pleasant evening in remembrance of our wild dijo. Cheers.

28/11/2025: As a matter of principle, I don't give a negative review because I ate there for decades. I ordered four servings of sweet and sour sauce; just by looking at the color, you could tell it wasn't the same batch. Some of the sauce had simply fermented... a strong, overpowering taste of alcohol, so that plate went straight in the bin. The rice was rock hard, almost raw... After the sauce, I wondered how old it was... It's crazy to take over such a Thionville institution and ruin it like this. Judging by the other reviews, it's far from an isolated case.

21/09/2025: Calm atmosphere, however the quality is normal or even poor at times. For the price I think it's reasonable anyway. You really can't expect better for this price, but if you're aiming for quality, look elsewhere. On the other hand, the price-quality ratio is good.
