10/05/2024: A delicious discovery. Kathmandu is a true traditional Nepalese restaurant, with typical food and drinks. The staff is friendly and welcoming, eager to advise and explain the different meals. The food is tasty and authentic. The restaurant is decorated with Nepalese masks and diverse other elements. At lunchtime a buffet is available. Overall, we really liked our experience here!

24/03/2024: Very expensive for what it is. That the Beoseot Jeongol Royal is the same price with or without meat (25€) is excessive. The price of dishes containing only vegetables should be lowered compared to those containing meat. The staff, however, are very nice.

06/04/2024: Happy with the quality and the welcome from the owner. Pho soup lived up to our expectations and beef with succulent sesame sauce. Just a small downside for the Ban cuon pancakes which are not really tasty. Nice surprise just before arriving at the Pantheon.

31/03/2024: Returning after a long time to this charming and friendly little place, I found the same genuine quality of the past (indeed, even improved) with the dishes freshly prepared by a Tibetan chef and served by the owner, a French lady. Tibetan cuisine is very simple, vegetables prevail, but with unusual combinations. An address not to be missed to experience exotic yet homely cuisine.
20/03/2024: We reserved a table for two people for dinner on March 19 in this restaurant with the hope of tasting the fabulous Tibetan gastronomy! We ordered a Tibetan soup with homemade pasta (I love homemade, it's generally a guarantee of quality) and beef with vermicelli. The soup had no taste (I asked for salt & pepper, and they brought me a microscopic dose of salt in a small dish and no pepper). The homemade pasta in the soup was thick and inedible, there were hardly any vegetables and the meat was rubbery... For the beef with vermicelli, the vegetables were probably canned, and I didn't see the vermicelli .... Again, a very small portion. It was a very disappointing experience overall. The staff is not responsive at all. Even if you are patient, you have to ask them 3 times for the same thing to get it to you.
As for the price, around 15 euros per person is far from affordable for food of this quality. I do not recommend this address.

29/03/2024: Great stuff all around. We only had forty minutes to dine, but they got our order and produced the food within minutes. Great atmosphere too. Food was delicious and at very reasonable prices. Would go again.
01/03/2024: Everything was perfect, a little Thai restaurant that doesn't look like much, very friendly, the dishes were delicious. Come and book because they are always full.

One of the oldest Korean restaurants in Paris, and one of the best in my opinion.
28/02/2024: 02/28/24 Reception rather distant, smile not really spontaneous, nor at the very least commercial.
Approximate service.
There were 3 of us: a €15 menu (1) seaweed soup = seaweed and hot water. (2) Spicy pork belly with onion = 5 small slices of pork mixed with half onion rings drowned in a brown sauce. Quite ordinary from all points of view.
The other 2 guests, vegetarian: vermicelli (sweet potato) with vegetables. You could count them, oily vermicelli. Served with kimchi and 3 varieties of vegetables, bean sprouts, spinach and white radishes.
If blandness is sought after, it’s really very successful!
The other proposals have not been tried. Starting from the inability to give taste and appeal to such simple and sober recipes did not encourage us to go further.
Love is clearly not in the kitchen.
Conclusion: restaurant for tourists in a neighborhood (Place de la contrescarpe and rue Mouffetard) for tourists.
€60 for three...I let the reader's imagination work. It seems that it's the same family that has been running it for 30 years...well they really need to rest and travel...

07/04/2024: We have eaten several times at this restaurant. The dishes are good and original, plus the prices are attractive.
13/03/2024: The service was great!
However, it is very cramped.
It's not expensive, but the portions aren't particularly big either.
A few spices would have helped my chicken curry taste better. So it didn't have much pizzazz and came across as bland and boring.
