We were passing through the area and were looking for an authentic Asian restaurant, and this one was the perfect choice.
A warm welcome, genuine kindness, and friendliness were on the menu ☺️
My pho soup was delicious, and so was my partner's; the main dishes and side dishes were excellent as well.
We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, and if we're ever back in the area, we'll gladly return to eat here.
27/07/2026: Was itching for a bowl of pho which is not always an easy find in France. Man did Ha Tien deliver!
The soup was well balanced with a flavourful broth accompanied with a homemade siracha(!) on the side. Recommended.

21/02/2026: We arrived at lunchtime and noticed the place was empty (which made us suspicious, but we wanted to try it anyway).
To be honest, the portions were generous but extremely bland. Even the broth had no flavor, the meat was incredibly dry, and the egg was awful.
They probably have other specialties they do well, but personally, I won't be going back.

18/08/2026: Friendliness and customer service seem to be completely optional in this bar.
18/08/2026: Albertville has clearly lost its luster in 1992, and it starts as soon as you step out of the train station.
Arriving at 8 a.m. to wait for our train on the (almost empty) terrace, we enjoyed a first round of drinks served with friendliness and professionalism. Then at 2 p.m., a change of waitress and a change of atmosphere. Second round of drinks plus a request for a carafe of water: "We don't serve carafes." A plastic bottle will do. Glasses? "What next?"
Thirty minutes later, we were asked to "get lost" because we weren't ordering enough and were "taking up all the space." The atmosphere was so welcoming that it even drove away the last customers.
The restrooms, too, are best avoided.
One star, generously awarded to the first waitress.

17/01/2026: It was to be expected, this restaurant is so dirty.
Their children climb on the ice cream tub with their shoes on, take the candy with their hands, and put it back in.
This restaurant is unacceptable.
The toilets are disgusting.
It's no wonder it's closed now.
I spoke to the owner about it, and he just laughed; he didn't care at all.

24/11/2024: A beautiful shop, welcoming at 7 a.m. when it opens.

Une honte !!
Faire payer 3 euros à une personne qui ne mange pas, j'ai jamais vu ça de ma vie dans un restaurant !!
Après avoir pris l'apéritif à 13h40 le dimanche avec une plancha à 3 sur la terrasse qui était à moitié pleine , nous avons décidé de commander.
Une salade pour moi, et ma femme et son fils de 9 ans, ont décidé de prendre une crèpe en dessert.
Malheureusement on nous annonce que ce n'est qu'à partir de 16h qu'ils servaient les crêpes et les gaufres !
Du coup ils n'ont rien pris d'autre, pas trop faim après la plancha et un peu déçu par les autres desserts.
La serveuse nous annonce alors que comme ma femme ne mangeait pas, 3 euros nous serons facturés sur la note !
Après avoir fini la salade césar nous avons décidé de partir.
Quand je suis allé payer la note qui s'élevait à 45 euros + 3 euros en plus soit 48 euros au total pour...
3 verres, une plancha et une salade césar, car bien sûr nous n'avons pas insisté après cet accueil aussi agréable.
J'ai signalé à la responsable au bar que c'était inadmissible et honteux de faire payer quelqu'un qui ne mangeait pas, et qu'ils allaient gagné 3 euros aujourd'hui, mais qu'ils ne nous verraient pas de la semaine, on voyait bien sur son visage qu'elle s'en foutait complètement et même, elle souriait de la situation.
Je n'ai jamais vu ça de ma vie !!!
Un tel comportement !!!
Comment faire de l'argent à tout prix !

Dommage car ça coupe l’envie de revenir.
Pas de nouilles donc obligé de prendre du riz.

10/04/2024: There were 3 of us dining at this lovely restaurant. We had 2 starters and 2 courses between us and there was plenty of food which was freshly cooked cooked and was delicious. This restaurant is highly recommended
