30/06/2025: We ate lunch here on a six day cycle tour of Cherbourg peninsula.
Best lunch spot of the trip. Great, limited menu covering all the bases. Home cooked food with a real rural French feel.
We would DEFINITELY include this stop if we pass again. Either for lunch, dinner or an overnight stop. We did not see the rooms. Suspect charming and clean if anything like the restaurant.

21/06/2025: Great family hotel 100m from the abbey. Excellent welcome, very clean room, very good restaurant for a moderate price. The owner is very attentive to ensure a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

16/09/2024: It's not my habit to leave a review on Google but I have to recommend the auberge des tisserand to you.
We went there to get together around a good meal to celebrate our union in a small group.
The manager is a very warm and very professional person, we put together a menu with him, trusting him 100%, and we had a great time!
Our expectations were far exceeded.
The boss (Carl) surprised us by privatizing the entire hostel.
The organization, communication, service and advice on wine pairings were really perfect throughout the process.
The value for money and the atmosphere at the hostel.
09/08/2024: A Norman restaurant that is worth the detour. Attentive and quality service. We were well received. The waiters make you feel good and have a good time with your family. The cozy atmosphere of an English pub. There is music and a grand piano. A very nice vintage decoration. The food is excellent and careful. A good address in a charming little village. I highly recommend you.

20/09/2024: Friendly service on the terrace. But instead of two coffees only brought one and instead of white wine a beer 🤷
16/09/2024: Wonderful place facing the sea that enjoys the services of the best bar/bistro there is in that area. Courteous and attentive staff. A place that creates memories and the desire to return. Slightly expensive, however we went there in high season.

18/09/2024: De nieuwe directie doet uiterst haar best. Eenvoudig en goed hotel. Zeer proper. Zeer hartelijk onthaal. Goed gelegen.
18/09/2024: Repas très décevant. Des galettes pas fraîches et bien sèches. Saint Jacques très peu et trop cuites lardons trop cuits aliments sans doute congelés. Les galettes et crêpes non faites en cuisine ( acheter en gros ) Banana Split avec de l alcool du jamais vu. Très déçus et nous l avons bien fait comprendre et leur avons conseillé d arrêter la crêperie. Nous ne recommandons pas cet établissement

26/10/2024: Une entrée prometteuse, mais nous avons été un peu déçus par les plats qui manquaient de raffinement. En revanche : cadre sympathique, serveur agréable, produits locaux et de saison. Option végétarienne appréciée.
16/10/2024: J’ai déjeuné mardi 15 octobre 2024 et dîné le même soir et à nouveau ce soir mercredi 16 octobre 2024.
La personne qui m’a accueilli mardi midi et l’autre qui m’a reçu chaque soir étaient très sympathiques. Le cadre est très agréable dans cette maison aux plafonds très hauts. C’est une adresse qui se mérite car elle est située dans la haute ville (le centre historique).
Consommer son repas au calme, c’est agréable. Même s’il y a du monde, l’endroit n’est pas sonore.
Après avoir parlé du cadre, évoquons le voyage gustatif et subtil des plats. Délicieux, avec une cuisson parfaite de la coquille Saint-Jacques en entrée. Une carte et une proposition d’entrée et de plat du jour équilibrée. Et l’on devine facilement que tout est préparé à la commande. Je cuisine et je sais faire la différence entre quelque chose qui a attendu en cuisine et un plat qui vient d’être élaboré après la commande.
Une chose est sûre, quand je reviendrai à Granville, j’y retournerai et je ferai partager cette belle découverte à mes amis.

27/08/2024: What a great little find this place was. It's a family run brasserie and the welcome was warm and friendly. The staff were always happy to stop by your table for a chat as well as give tips on local places to visit.
The service was prompt, the menu was small but changed daily. We went two nights running, as we were staying nearby, both times the food was excellent and reasonably priced.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is in the area.
