24/04/2024: I loved this hotel which has a soul. It has remained in its original form, kitsch as can be, charming and old-fashioned. The staff is attentive and very pleasant. The elderly boss also does everything he can to satisfy you; charming old-fashioned service. The food is also very good with excellent Scottish specialties.
21/04/2024: Quite cold welcome from the receptionist, Our room keys could open the other doors on our floor..(the friends I traveled with were able to open my door with their room key)
During my shower, part of the shower head attachment remained in my hand.
I couldn't raise the toilet lid, it went back down automatically.
For the general condition of the room, I can say that it is dated.
