03/02/2024: For the first time I must say that I was incredibly surprised to discover this inspiring place. Everything is designed for the welcome, the ability to receive with all its tables, high tables, sofas. All this on the entire surface and in particular the small lounges on a wooden terrace with a roof. Lots of diversity in the furniture, probably made from recycled materials, it's great. We enjoyed a great espresso coffee and a “real joy” cappuccino with whipped cream on top 😋🩵. We took a quick tour of the beer 🍻 and wine cellar which belongs to the place. There is something for everyone, beers with different strengths etc...wine...spirits, mixed rums, incredible whiskeys... In short, stop by this place which also has an outdoor area and the welcome upon our arrival was super friendly. Well done 👍👏🩵

08/01/2024: Très bien accueilli par Florent. Le bar est très spacieux, chaleureux avec des espaces où l’on peut s’asseoir en nombre. On y boit de bonnes bières et on y mange également de bonnes pizzas. Le lieu idéal pour écouter de la bonne musique sur avranches. Je recommande vivement 👍

29/02/2024: We were looking for a bike-friendly hotel with quick access to the greenway, Veloscenie. The Lion d’Or hotel offered an ideal location! In addition, the staff is very friendly, we eat well and we sleep peacefully after a day spent on the bike! 😊

05/03/2024: Very good time spent with family. This is the first time I have been asked to taste rosé to see if I would like it. Hearty meal, I was offered another meal for my daughter who would not eat her hamburger.

09/05/2024: Association meal, very good meal and very well served. All in a good atmosphere.

28/02/2024: I judge from experience with a family meal for 26 people: waitresses attentive and friendly, however the owner seemed to have gotten up on her left foot that day. Expired ketchup and not very fresh chocolate squares. A few false notes which leave us quite critical of the cuisine which I would describe as roadside, below the bistro, it was not worth 40€/person. Judge for yourself on a Saturday lunchtime in small groups before you start organizing a family meal and choose your menu carefully.

13/01/2024: Arriving late at lunchtime, I really appreciated the time given to the customer by the boss. What can we say about the taste that invades your palate here because everything is homemade and locally sourced for a more than reasonable price. Don't hesitate, go for it!
