However, the meat was of average quality, which is disappointing for a restaurant that prides itself on meat.
The portions are really small, whether it's the "large" flank steak or the €19 for a small burger: it's really unacceptable.

01/08/2026: Every time I come to Alès, this is where I like to stop, and for good reason. A warm welcome and fairly quick service.
This family-run restaurant is a great find, right in the center, just opposite the courthouse. A wide selection of dishes (and not just meat), all at reasonable prices. It's perfect for a quick lunch or a birthday celebration. What more could you ask for?

The tomato and mozzarella salad was excellent and very generously topped.
The duck breast was cooked to perfection, and the side dish was very generous.
P.S.: Outdoor seating is available.

This hidden gem of a restaurant is simply amazing.
Shaded terrace under the olive trees.
The menu is very affordable, with unlimited appetizer and dessert buffets, a choice of grilled meats from a wide selection, delicious dishes, and a friendly waitress.
Nothing negative to say.
If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate, you won't regret it.
