10/03/2026: Always a warm welcome from the owner and his waiter. Good meat!
03/03/2026: The atmosphere is more bistro than restaurant. I agree with the family feel, seeing the clientele the manager knew. The manager was very friendly and honestly offered good advice. The second waiter was apparently much less familiar with the place. Not a big deal, everyone has the right to start somewhere. -> Hence the two well-deserved stars. The extractor hood on each table doesn't seem to be extracting much anymore; are the filters changed regularly? So we smelled of meat when we left. This isn't a criticism in itself, as it's to be expected with the brazier and other grilled items on site. It's good to be aware of this. Now, regarding the food: Frozen vegetables -> okay, it's a steakhouse French fries -> fine Meats (steak tartare and ribeye) -> this is where things fall short. Steak tartare: huge portion, tasteless, unseasoned Ribeye: cooked properly. More sinew than edible pieces. No succulent fat that usually gives the ribeye its flavor. What's more, it's served with industrial-style sauces like cocktail, curry, and tartar sauce… for a ribeye steak? Really? Understandable for Chinese, braised, or beef bourguignon, but not for a ribeye. In short, the restaurant is seriously lacking in its specialty. That said, the prices aren't exorbitant, which reflects the fact that we're paying for quality. Another drawback: the wine glasses, but apparently larger glasses could be ordered—good to know… Best of luck.
