11/06/2026: A great place to stay, easy access of the autoroute. Plenty of parking. Staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. Dog friendly including the bar and restaurant areas. Very clean, spacious bedrooms. Comfortable bed, quiet room. Good range of menu choice in restaurant and at breakfast bar. Nice outdoor pool. I can't fault this hotel I always enjoy staying here.

09/09/2026: Terrible welcome. Extremely slow service! The staff chatted constantly, which inevitably lengthened the wait (even in a half-empty restaurant!). Whether it's for ordering or being served, you really shouldn't be in a hurry. Another point: My requested rare steak was served overcooked! In short, I definitely do not recommend this restaurant... Buffalo Grill in other cities is much better. Conclusion: avoid Saint Memmie at all costs...

08/09/2026: Enthusiastic staff, that’s not the problem. My sirloin steak was tough and bland. The chicken and sausage with the mixed grill were lukewarm/cold. The fries weren't warm either. Too bad, we had a much better experience in Perpignan. But the service was good.

27/08/2026: As always, it's a pleasure to come to Hippopotamus. Excellent meal and very good service, thank you to Océane and the other waitresses.

06/08/2026: We had a very pleasant time: dining outdoors with a view of the cathedral and excellent food. Perhaps a touch too salty for the steak tartare. But it was very good. Just be aware that the desserts are enormous, haha! Keep that in mind when choosing your main course 😉

06/09/2026: We were still served after the kitchen had officially closed, great service and staff. The steak was pretty good but not 5* worthy, but the prices were fair and the cocktails were great

06/09/2026: One word to sum it up: incredible! An amazing atmosphere, and the waiters and waitresses were incredibly attentive. We were celebrating our son's 18th birthday, and the team was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make it a truly special occasion. A fantastic evening, unanimously agreed upon by all our guests. Thank you again for your kindness and energy!

28/07/2026: They told us it was fine for lunch. It was good, simple, quick, and efficient. There's a choice of several starters, salads, main courses, and desserts. And the prices are relatively reasonable. The staff are friendly and pleasant; there's really nothing to complain about for lunch—it's very convenient.
