18/10/2026: It's impossible to give zero stars on Google Maps. I hope that will change someday. The Black Stone is a hangout for bourgeois types from the 16th arrondissement of Paris who gather amongst themselves. So far, nothing problematic. People go where they want. However, the prices are also typical of restaurants in the 16th arrondissement. Yet, the Black Stone is located in the middle of nowhere, opposite a football pitch. How can they justify the exorbitant price of their pint of Guinness (€9.50)? To make matters worse, they only accept cards for purchases over €10.00. How strange! Ultimately, you have to pay €19.00 for two Guinnesses if you want to pay by card. It's simply outrageous. I said exactly the same thing about O'Brady's. But at the Black Stone, it's even more vicious. When I asked the waiter if the owner of the establishment was the same as the owner of O'Brady's, he curtly replied, "Not at all! Why?" Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll also mention the service. I ordered my beer directly at the bar, so I don't know if they offer table service, but I imagine they do. At the Black Stone, you don't even have time to finish your beer. The waiter snatches it from your hands before you've even finished it! What a complete lack of respect! He pretends to be running around and busy, even though there are several waiters and we were only 10 customers. On top of that, he's particularly unpleasant. When you speak to him, he runs off and mutters an incomprehensible reply under his breath. Typical of the bourgeois types from the 16th arrondissement who have no time for anything or anyone and who snub every human being they meet! Let's talk about the restrooms now. I simply wanted to use the restroom after finishing my beer. Not finding them, I politely asked the waiter where they were. To which he rudely replied: "The restrooms are for customers only. You have to have ordered a drink to use the restroom!" I must be dreaming! I ordered my beer from the same waiter 20 minutes earlier! In despair, I told him I had ordered a drink and offered to show him the receipt. Luckily, I had kept it! He replied (still aggressively): "No, it's fine..." I found the restrooms myself. As for marketing, the menus are AI-generated. Absolutely no creativity. I have rarely been treated as badly as at the Black Stone. I went there with a friend. When I left, I had spent €38.00 on four beers (of which I only drank two). An absolute scandal. Who else in Marseille charges such high prices? If you're a snobbish bourgeois living in the 16th arrondissement of Paris and you hate poverty and the poor in general, then Black Stone is for you!

28/09/2026: Very disappointed with this experience. For four people, we paid €92 in total: three cheese pizzas at €18 each, one mozzarella pizza at €20, and four drinks. I tried calling them about 25 times to let them know I would be late, but no one ever answered. And when we arrived, our reservation wasn't even registered under the correct name. To top it all off, the evening ended very badly: we spent the entire night in the bathroom, emptying our bowels, with severe stomach pains. Between the poor organization, the lack of response to the phone, and this terrible digestive experience, we are extremely disappointed.

04/10/2026: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Very bad experience. I ordered a pizza from Pépé Pizza and, upon delivery, I discovered a cockroach crawling on the box. Needless to say, when you open your door to receive a pizza and see that, your appetite vanishes immediately. I then spoke with the owner for about ten minutes. What disappointed me most, beyond the hygiene issue, was his way of handling the situation: instead of immediately seeking a solution to satisfy the customer, we had to negotiate at length before a replacement pizza was offered. The informal address used during the conversation didn't exactly improve the feeling of being treated with respect either. I myself worked in the pizza industry for 14 years, so I am perfectly aware of the realities and difficulties of this profession. But when a customer encounters such a serious problem, the priority must be to acknowledge their dissatisfaction and quickly find a commercial solution. In the end, even though a new pizza was offered, I had completely lost interest after seeing the cockroach and after that exchange with the owner. I'm simply sharing my experience here, because for me, the quality of an establishment also depends on hygiene and how it treats its customers when a problem arises. A little tidbit I learned is that the two sisters no longer run the place. Well, the customer service has definitely changed.
