19/04/2026: A very pleasant lunch in a lovely setting overlooking the sea on the terrace, excellent service and delicious food, well done to the chef! We highly recommend it and will definitely return.
19/04/2026: A word of advice to anyone passing through: if you haven't been to this place, you should only stop for a drink because the view is magnificent. However, the service and food are appalling. The staff is incompetent, truly, and the food is beyond bad—literally edible. And on top of that, the price is exorbitant at €175 without alcohol.

13/04/2026: We spent this weekend as a family at the Sandcastle House, a guesthouse near the hotel and managed by the hotel.
The house is extraordinary, magnificent, spacious, and tastefully decorated; everything was perfect. An address to keep for future get-togethers!
07/04/2026: We spent two nights at this hotel, where the view from the room was absolutely stunning. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a large bay window overlooking the Saint-Laurent peninsula. There are magnificent walks right at the hotel's doorstep, and the sunset can be enjoyed from the room or the restaurant. The staff was very pleasant. The food was excellent. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.

14/12/2025: We booked a double room on Booking.com for the 2025 Douarnenez Carnival. The hotel manager called us a week before our stay to say she had booked our room on another website for someone else. We asked her for a solution, and she offered to find us a place in the hotel to put our "air mattress on the floor," which we found very kind. I asked her over the phone how we could arrange the price since she had canceled our reservation. She said we would sort it out later, so I didn't press the issue. Upon arrival, she showed us to the "gym," which you can see in the Google photos, with a glass door. She offered us the use of the sauna shower, which also had a glass door opening onto the hallway. She never mentioned the price; we assumed we would pay her a small fee for the favor. When it came time to leave and pay, listen to this: this woman asked us to pay 80 euros, the price of a room! We paid an additional 26 euros for breakfast, which included stale bread. We politely told her that this was too much to pay for sleeping in a gym, especially since we had brought our own sleeping bag and air mattress. She got angry and told us we had to "pay for the electricity." What a joke. In short, we find it outrageous that we were charged 106 euros to sleep on our air mattress with our sleeping bag in the gym.

24/09/2024: This place is a dive in the process of seeing how low it can dive!
There were very few customers when I went in with a group for lunch recently. Normally I would walk out where I notice the kind of alarm bell warnings I observed but I didn't want to offend anyone in our group.
As soon as you walk in there is a depressing atmosphere and everything you look at seems unloved and unmaintained. Who knows whats going on behind the scenes and why its so bad but it doesnt seem like a functioning business which is going anywhere but closed.
There seems to be no investment and no effort to offer an interesting, tasty and exciting menu that's for sure!
I like jazz but the slow depressing jazz at 12.30 lunchtime is a bad choice and makes the place sad, sleepy and depressing instead of just depressing!
Sitting down and looking around you start to notice the sorry state of the place! The holes in seats, unkept furniture that could be repaired or sanded and varnished or thrown out, various broken items in the toilets which havent been repaired and are filthy just add to the depression.
Its said that you can judge the standard and cleanliness of a restaurant and thus the quality and safety of the food you will eat by looking at the state of its toilets. My advice: Look in the toilets before you order any food here!! You will run out of the place to anywhere else!!! Perhaps you will do a u-turn as soon as you walk in, so no need to even visit the toilets.
The menus are very basic and laminated, but its the cheapest you have ever touched. Falling to bits and greasy and dirty.
After seeing the state of the interior, the toilets and the menus I would have walked out straight away if I wasn't with a work group.
Many items on the menu were not available but our group were not told at the time when menus were handed out. We were only told what wasn't available when we were trying to order and had already made up our minds so we were forced to re-choose in a hurry!
We were told that they didn't receive delivery of certain meats but I would imagine that their credit had run out with suppliers given the state of the place.
The waiter mixed up orders. Plates were placed in front of people in my group which were taken away and given to other tables!!
15/09/2024: Very affordable student bar with pints for €4 until closing, often full to bursting, the atmosphere is great

29/09/2024: We didn't want to leave comments to keep this address just for ourselves. As you can see, this place is excellent!! A true haven of peace, we felt at home there. The relaxation area with its sauna and jacuzzi is really a plus (and even more so when it's raining and windy!)...then you put the stove on and there...it's very cocooning.
Perfect !

Warm welcome from Céline who guides you upon your arrival to discover this little corner of paradise! 12 of us spent a pleasant weekend renting the whole thing: the 2 gîtes and the main house which offer a living space allowing all of our friends to come together. The decoration is neat, spotless in terms of cleanliness, the equipment is top notch and above all the bedding is impeccable with good mattresses. The bonus is the well-being relaxation area that we shared very happily with our friends! ☺️So without hesitation, I recommend this place nestled in a green setting! Thank you Céline for your availability and your kindness!

Ambiance agréable avec un accueil attentionné tout au long du dîner
Repas entre amis très apprécié de tous. Plats goûteux avec de bons produits frais et locaux servis avec une belle présentation. Service rapide bref un bon moment je recommande à 100%
Seul petit bémol un brin de chauffage en plus mais la météo du mois d’Avril explique cela !
