05/04/2024: The village café located on Place d’Italie is a very pleasant place to live where there is always plenty of entertainment and cultural events for all ages.
Our theatrical improvisation troupe is always very well received and the public asks for more.
And when it comes to food, we enjoy it. Congratulations to the entire village café team!
02/04/2024: Great place to work or relax! There is a great atmosphere there. The staff is very welcoming, especially Victor who makes the best café lattes in Paris! The prices are affordable and everything I tasted was very good. They also organize many events. I recommend this address 😊

I recommend the vol au vent which is a tour de force of technique and taste.

03/04/2024: Disappointment...not by the quality of the dish but by the lack of consideration given to its customers. While the room was half empty and the lunch service was almost over, two people were seated at the next table. We quickly understand that it is not customers but acquaintances of the staff who come to drink coffee. Unless you are deaf, it is impossible not to hear their discussion with one of the restaurant managers who is covering ours. We offer them a tour of the restaurant and we take the opportunity to ask a waiter if it is possible to move them to a table, the room being almost empty. He apologizes and promises to do so as soon as they return. Yet they will never move from their table. Our end of the meal is spoiled by the noise of this conversion. During the bill, the same waiter asks us if everything went well. We remind him of our request and the response “ah yes that was not possible”. Not possible in an almost empty room at 2 p.m.? For a high-end restaurant, at the price of the meal, what a disappointment...Drouant is no longer what it was...and that's a shame.

17/03/2024: The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location is optimal for both walking and public transportation. What a great way to experience Paris!
28/02/2024: We chose this hotel purely for its position being close to Opera metro station with all its metro and commuter train lines, also 2 minutes walk from the airport bus. On arrival we were greeted warmly and the staff were very friendly showing us the basics and the room. The room was very well presented with plenty of space, a well equiped bathroom, 2 tv's, sofa, 2 comfy chairs. (found Scotland v England in the 6 nations on the telly, good to see world class England thrashed again by Scotland😂🤣😂🏴, but I digress) Breamfast was the usual selection of hams, cheeses, various breads, fresh fruit, cereals and fruit juices, my partner especialy liked the detox shot. If you want to know what other rooms are on offer, look at the fire map. The manageress saw us looking and this started a conversation with us getting to see one of the suits on offer. The reception staff were super friendly giving us very good advice on what streets to head to for good local shopping. We ate in the restaurant on the Friday, both having steak which was cooked to perfection and the polenta chips were exceptional even if not quite what brits would call chips. I had their version of pain perdu for afters which was different but very nice, partner had mille feuille which said had a particularly good cream filling, so no complaints with the food. We really liked our stay here so I exlect we'll be back
