18/03/2026: Certainly the best hotel in the region.
The welcome was warm and very professional.
The room was large, clean, and tastefully decorated.
The bathroom was spacious with fresh towels (no old rags) and a heated towel rail.
The restaurant was equally excellent, serving fresh, skillfully prepared food.
I'm adding this because it's become rare these days in the hotel industry.

12/11/2025: A random stop on the road, on a Monday at lunchtime, a day when it's difficult to find an open restaurant, was a pleasant surprise: home-style cooking and the veal stew was delicious.
