08/07/2026: Discovered this restaurant on its terrace during a holiday visit to the beautiful town of Mornac… We were greeted with a smile in an ideal setting overlooking the oyster huts… Okay, let's start with the slightly mixed points: the service was indeed a bit slow… it didn't feel like the restaurant was understaffed, but they seemed a little lost and inefficient at times. However, it wasn't due to ill will, but perhaps the stress of the start of the season, and in the end, it wasn't a problem and even became almost pleasant because everything was done with a smile… and what was initially a negative point almost turned into a positive one.
As for the quality of the food… honestly, nothing to complain about… it was simply delicious. I wasn't expecting to be blown away by the eggs mayonnaise, but I almost wanted to order more. The beef was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection. The chicken skewer was an explosion of flavors… in short, we just wanted more…
The prices are quite reasonable for the quality…
So in the end, yes, I can't give it 5 stars because the service was a bit disorganized, and while we found it almost "touching," I understand that it might not be as well received by some people…
But if you're patient, the food is worth it!
06/07/2026: We were there for lunch today. The staff were welcoming, the vintage decor was very nice, the food was good, and it was excellent value for money. We all had the set menu. I recommend it.

15/04/2026: No regrets at all! We had a fantastic lunch, there were four of us, and we ordered the set menu. Honestly, the quality, price, and service were top-notch! The meal, accompanied by Korean liquor, was a real discovery 💡 I highly recommend it!

The crepes are very expensive. However, the service is fast 👍
17/05/2026: During a stroll, we stumbled into this restaurant quite by chance. At first glance, we found the owner very reserved and not very friendly, but we ordered two beers and two salads. While we waited, I checked the reviews... It was a disaster! I only read negative ones 🤔. Oh well, we'll see... The salads arrived, and what a surprise! They were beautiful, generously filled, and delicious! And then I thought to myself that people can be really difficult, even unkind, because okay, the owner might be a bit gruff, but small talk and smiles don't fill stomachs, whereas generous portions do! What's more, we were greeted with "hello, thank you, goodbye, have a nice day." If we're ever in the area again, we'll gladly go back to this restaurant.

Tout est bon et ils sont sympas.
Frites maison (dommage avec la peau).
Service agréable et rapide.

18/09/2024: Mise à part le lieu tout reste à déplorer, le service tardif et peu accueillant ne donne pas envie de revenir sans parler du prix 8€ pour un diabolo et une canette la prochaine fois je passerais chez Leclerc !
15/09/2024: La serveuse nous apporte la carte au bout de 40 mn , c'est long, très long!
Elle nous vante une entrée de couteaux à la persillade et nous demande aussitôt si nous avons choisi.. pour pouvoir choisir, il nous faudrait pouvoir à minima jeter un œil sur la carte, non??
Quand elle revient, mon mari demande un Burger : ah non, pas possible, c'est pour les enfants... Bien sûr non précisé sur la carte, et un Burger à 19€, ça fait cher le menu enfants... finalement, il pourra avoir quand même un Burger.
Nous commandons une assiette de couteaux pour 3 en guise d'apéritif avec 2 bières et un verre de vin puis le fameux Burger et des salades perigourdines.
Le Burger et les salades sont servis assez vite, mais il faut réclamer et reréclamer les boissons plusieurs fois avant de les avoir. Quand aux couteaux persillés, nous ne les avons jamais eus!
Pas de desserts, nous irons les manger ailleurs, pas envie d'attendre encore très très longtemps sans certitude d'avoir ce que nous avons commandé.
Le paiement se passera dans le même style que le repas, fiche des plats commandés égarée, humeur et mémoire de la serveuse très défaillants, amabilité au même niveau... bref, restaurant à fuir quand il y a cette serveuse aux commandes, sauf que apparemment c'est la patronne!! Donc à fuir tout court..
Plats corrects sans recherche particulière, mais très chers vu la qualité
Ambiance exécrable, on ne passe pas du tout un bon moment dans ce restaurant
