17/09/2026: Everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, the food.
The head waitress managed to find us a table for two even though the restaurant was full. The fish was top-notch, and the young staff were excellent. What more can I say except: you have to go and see for yourself!
A very pleasant experience. We'll definitely be back, don't change a thing!

16/09/2026: We happily travel 800 kilometers every year to eat here. Each dish is prepared with the highest quality local ingredients. The flavor profile is perfectly balanced, and the different elements always harmonize beautifully.
The waitstaff is also always very attentive and extremely friendly. We are always greeted with a warm welcome, and it's always a great pleasure to return to enjoy an absolutely delicious meal.
A huge thank you to Frank, Stéphanie, and the entire team! See you next year!

11/09/2026: Unfortunately, the service made our experience quite disappointing. We were in a group and had ordered several different dishes. The table quickly became piled high with small plates and bowls, to the point where we barely had room to move.
Instead of regularly clearing the empty dishes, the server seemed more interested in chatting than attending to the customers' needs.
Several people at neighboring tables even had to put some dishes on the empty tables next to us to free up some space.
When we did the same, an employee came to tell us, in a rather unpleasant tone, that everything had to stay on our table. We explained that there simply wasn't any more room, but he replied that it didn't matter and proceeded to reposition our plates himself instead of clearing them, with a condescending and completely inappropriate attitude.
What's even more regrettable is that other tables were doing the exact same thing without receiving a single comment.
More attentive service, particularly clearing empty plates as they were used, and above all, a more respectful attitude towards customers would have completely changed our experience.

07/09/2026: A fantastic meal by the water. A truly relaxing experience. We started with a seafood platter as an appetizer, paired with a Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil rosé, followed by a fish stew on a bed of mashed potatoes (tuna, sea bass fillet, and mussels), and for dessert, a fig tiramisu. Coffee.
All for 76 euros for two. Honestly, excellent value for money. Kudos to the staff at this establishment.
04/09/2026: An absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, the magic was palpable: a gentle waitress had thought of us even before we got there, sensing how comfortable we would both be in this enchanting setting, our table set facing the harbor in the breathtaking late afternoon light. This is true luxury.
The appetizers set the tone: flavorful baby squid with chorizo, delicate fried smelts enhanced by an absolutely divine homemade béarnaise sauce. Freshness and deliciousness from the very first bite.
And then came the main course, and wow, it was a revelation. A duo of locally caught fish that literally melted in the mouth, accompanied by ratatouille, homemade mashed potatoes and sweet potato purée, crispy onions, and a perfectly balanced lemon sauce. Every texture, every flavor interacted with the others without ever overpowering the rest. It was a thoughtful, expertly crafted, and truly inspired dish.
The dessert sealed the deal: a sumptuous French toast, topped with homemade crème anglaise and caramel. A pure moment of indulgence.
Mornac-sur-Seudre is a village of artists, painters, potters... But tonight, we discovered that the most moving art was found on a plate. Behind these dishes, a chef and her kitchen partner meticulously craft each flavor combination with rare precision, and in the dining room, a truly delicate touch. Thank you for your passion for your craft. An address you absolutely must experience.

19/08/2026: A very nice restaurant.
The galettes are very large and beautifully presented on a plate. The quality/price ratio is reasonable for such a touristy area. And they have very good omelets for those who don't like galettes. The service is decent; the manager is admittedly a bit rough around the edges but remains friendly and has a good sense of humor.
One point for improvement: the toilet seat needs replacing. But given how busy it is...

18/09/2024: Mise à part le lieu tout reste à déplorer, le service tardif et peu accueillant ne donne pas envie de revenir sans parler du prix 8€ pour un diabolo et une canette la prochaine fois je passerais chez Leclerc !
15/09/2024: La serveuse nous apporte la carte au bout de 40 mn , c'est long, très long!
Elle nous vante une entrée de couteaux à la persillade et nous demande aussitôt si nous avons choisi.. pour pouvoir choisir, il nous faudrait pouvoir à minima jeter un œil sur la carte, non??
Quand elle revient, mon mari demande un Burger : ah non, pas possible, c'est pour les enfants... Bien sûr non précisé sur la carte, et un Burger à 19€, ça fait cher le menu enfants... finalement, il pourra avoir quand même un Burger.
Nous commandons une assiette de couteaux pour 3 en guise d'apéritif avec 2 bières et un verre de vin puis le fameux Burger et des salades perigourdines.
Le Burger et les salades sont servis assez vite, mais il faut réclamer et reréclamer les boissons plusieurs fois avant de les avoir. Quand aux couteaux persillés, nous ne les avons jamais eus!
Pas de desserts, nous irons les manger ailleurs, pas envie d'attendre encore très très longtemps sans certitude d'avoir ce que nous avons commandé.
Le paiement se passera dans le même style que le repas, fiche des plats commandés égarée, humeur et mémoire de la serveuse très défaillants, amabilité au même niveau... bref, restaurant à fuir quand il y a cette serveuse aux commandes, sauf que apparemment c'est la patronne!! Donc à fuir tout court..
Plats corrects sans recherche particulière, mais très chers vu la qualité
