Café des Arts sur Mornac-Sur-Seudre

Very good, fast service, would do it again

A very nice restaurant. The galettes are very large and beautifully presented on a plate. The quality/price ratio is reasonable for such a touristy area. And they have very good omelets for those who don't like galettes. The service is decent; the manager is admittedly a bit rough around the edges but remains friendly and has a good sense of humor. One point for improvement: the toilet seat needs replacing. But given how busy it is...

Very good, but the service was far too slow. We arrived at 7:30 pm and didn't leave until after 9 pm (aperitif and main course). We gave up after 30 minutes for dessert. The owner offered no apology when we paid. It's a shame because the young staff were very good and the galettes were high quality.

Very good restaurant apart from the numerous midges on the tables and in the plates.

During a stroll, we stumbled into this restaurant quite by chance. At first glance, we found the owner very reserved and not very friendly, but we ordered two beers and two salads. While we waited, I checked the reviews... It was a disaster! I only read negative ones 🤔. Oh well, we'll see... The salads arrived, and what a surprise! They were beautiful, generously filled, and delicious! And then I thought to myself that people can be really difficult, even unkind, because okay, the owner might be a bit gruff, but small talk and smiles don't fill stomachs, whereas generous portions do! What's more, we were greeted with "hello, thank you, goodbye, have a nice day." If we're ever in the area again, we'll gladly go back to this restaurant.
