08/12/2025: We came this summer and arrived on Île de Ré at 9 pm with nowhere to eat. We asked a waitress if we could be seated, and she replied, "Oh no, have you seen the time? We're not robots!" A rather unpleasant remark, but we wanted to try the restaurant again another day because the view is lovely. However, we ordered rare ribeye steak, which arrived medium-rare because they had switched our order with another table. The beef tartare with pesto had a peculiar taste. It seemed as though the amount of pesto was there to mask the flavor of the meat. When we pointed out what was wrong at the end of the meal, the waitress told us they had noticed we hadn't received the correct cooking time for the ribeye. This is shameful considering the price of the steak. We were offered a free shot, which was a nice touch, but rather ridiculous given the price of the food.
18/11/2025: Excellent meal and a very pleasant waitress. Everything homemade, as beautiful as it was delicious. The open kitchen is lovely. The scallops are amazing!

27/10/2025: The best food spot on the Île de Ré, a quality restaurant right on the sand. Warm welcome, fast service, exquisite dishes. Whether it's for a moment for two watching the sunset, or a large table with friends, La Plage is always a good choice.
So, I recommend a little Spritz in the sun, with your feet in the sand, facing the sea, while your excellent truffle pizza arrives...
10/10, bravo Maxence for keeping this establishment a must-visit.

07/01/2026: A very bad experience at this pizzeria.
We ordered five pizzas: one four-cheese, two burgers, one forestière, and one choupie.
The common thread among all the pizzas was the crust, which was simply awful: tasteless, with a chewing gum texture, difficult to chew, and very unpleasant.
The ingredients were also of poor quality, with bland or unappetizing flavors.
The burger pizza was the worst: no taste at all, a kind of tasteless mush, hardly even a pizza.
The forestière and choupie were hardly any better, with tasteless ingredients and equally bad crust.
The only pizza that was even remotely acceptable was the four-cheese, thanks to the cheeses, but the crust was still inedible, which completely ruined the whole experience.
To top it all off, there was a very strange incident: as if by chance, an internet outage, rendering the payment terminal unusable. A bizarre situation, which leaves one perplexed and, in my opinion, deserves attention.

05/07/2025: Excellent meal! We ate there with a Martinican acquaintance, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The service was impeccable and very friendly. We enjoyed lamb colombo and flambéed prawns. Everything was truly wonderful; I highly recommend it. 🙏🏼
It's a shame that some people don't know how to recognize authentic Caribbean cuisine and took the liberty of disrupting our good time.

Everything is homemade! Perfect welcome.
The outdoor area could use a refresh! As soon as we return to the island, this will be a must-do.

Assiettes demandées pour pouvoir partager les tapas, assiettes en plastiques pour enfant mouillées données.
Dommage pour le cuisto qui a un vrai talent mais l’ambiance globale crée une envie de partir sans prendre de dessert ! Nous avion l’impression de déranger…
