12/11/2025: A wonderful time! The aperitif was original (lemonade/amber rum), the food was excellent, including Norwegian flatbreads accompanied by a bottle of very good quality sweet cider 👍, and to finish, two gourmet coffees with three mini crepes and three small pots of sauce (salted caramel, Nutella, and jam). Moreover, the value for money was very good. We will definitely return. Thank you.

14/02/2026: Another wonderful experience last night with the tasting menu. A few adjustments are still being made to the new menu, as it was the reopening. But as always, a lot of work went into the preparations and a lot of research went into wowing us with local produce. And it's always a pleasure to chat with this young team.
04/12/2025: Everything is indeed homemade. One drawback: it's impossible to go on a whim, to share a meal with friends... We love the place and the chef's refined cuisine, however, we regret losing the spontaneity, being tied to the reservation schedule. There's a real lack of flexibility, in communication as well. It's a shame, and in the end... well, we gave up!

16/11/2025: Review of the restaurant (not the hotel). The shrimp mayonnaise and mussels and fries were good. We also ordered a vegetarian burger with eggs. The waitress was super friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. The restroom was clean. €20 per person. I recommend it!
12/11/2025: Restaurant at the foot of the Chassiron lighthouse. Mussels and fries on the terrace yesterday in the sunshine...what more could you ask for?

18/09/2024: Arrivé à 11:55, commande passée 10min plus tard. Il est maintenant 13:31 et on attend toujours nos 2 plats. Service catastrophique. On n’y reviendra sûrement plus.
03/09/2024: Tafelgenote nam frites met lamellen van gefrituurde inktvis, smakelijk maar wel veel van hetzelfde. Mijn hoofdgerecht waren garnalen “ en persillade “ met een heerlijk jus eronder. Ruime portie mooi gegaarde beestjes. Ook alle randvoorwaarden ( bakje voor de koppen, fris doekje voor de plak-vingers etc. ) goed geregeld. Wijnkeuze beperkt maar voldoende, vlotte en sympathieke bediening.

25/09/2024: Nous sommes allés dans ce bar/restau grâce aux avis tripadvisor.
Nous avons été reçu et servi par une demoiselle très sympathique et de bons conseils pour le choix de nos plats/boissons.
Quant à la cuisine elle est délicieuse, peu de choix en plat mais cela prouve encore plus la qualité (produits frais & locaux).
Par contre gros bémol sur le monsieur chauve qui était assis à l'entrée (qui j'espère n'est pas le dirigeant de ce bar) et qui tourne sa tête pour ne pas dire bonjour et au revoir aux clients. Si c'est le cas vous avez beaucoup à apprendre de vos employés qui eux sont souriants et sympathique.
01/09/2024: Cocktail Bar agréable au Port de St Denis d’Oléron. Avec une petite carte restaurant.
Le Burger est très bon et l’équipe est sympa !
