Another wonderful experience last night with the tasting menu. A few adjustments are still being made to the new menu, as it was the reopening. But as always, a lot of work went into the preparations and a lot of research went into wowing us with local produce. And it's always a pleasure to chat with this young team.

Everything is indeed homemade. One drawback: it's impossible to go on a whim, to share a meal with friends... We love the place and the chef's refined cuisine, however, we regret losing the spontaneity, being tied to the reservation schedule. There's a real lack of flexibility, in communication as well. It's a shame, and in the end... well, we gave up!

I came with my parents for my birthday, and from the appetizer to the main course and dessert, everything was homemade. It was delicious and tasted absolutely perfect. Even the bread and coffee were very good.
A welcoming team of young people explained how the dishes are prepared and what's on your plate. If you come to Île d'Oléron, it's a must-try! I highly recommend it; it was a real treat.

I highly recommend stopping by Le Jour Du Poisson; their cuisine is simply excellent and creative, with a focus on local produce.
