25/03/2024: A pleasant and delicious little restaurant. At lunchtime, we have the choice between 3 different platters, one vegetarian, one with fish and the last with meat. Everything is homemade and there is research into recipes and flavors. The only downside is that the restaurant can sometimes be a little noisy. It is very well located, next to the market.

15/03/2024: Noisy restaurant and deplorable and very expensive cuisine. Flavorless dishes with inconclusive chef tests (sea bream cooked on the plancha which removes all the soul from the fish flesh and also the sauce, which leaves a burnt aftertaste in the mouth, a suckling pig certainly delicious but an industrial sauce that wouldn't fool anyone and what can we say about its accompaniment! Diced beets without the slightest seasoning and to finish the piece of beef cut into a poor piece of beef with a bowl of fries…) I won't say more but be aware that if some dishes are bland, the note is salty.

Too bad we live 25 km away.
We highly recommend this restaurant for the welcome, variety and quality of the dishes. The parking lot located in front of the restaurant is also very nice...👍
19/03/2024: We ordered around ten dishes for our sports team who were staying in Saint-Jean-d'Angély this weekend. Not only was the food delicious and comforting all the players, but the owner, with whom I communicated remotely to place the order, was on top of everything with us. Despite a long list of dishes, everything was ready for our recovery hour and all dishes were wonderfully good and well garnished. Thanks again to you and your husband. If we come back to Saint-Jean-d'Angély, we know where to go for a good meal!

03/04/2024: Hello, I ate lasagna kit. Pasta cooked in water, meat taken out of a jar, béchamel in a brick, seared in the oven so cold after 5 minutes. The dessert seems homemade but not sure. Service a little off the charts but ok. Non-homemade pizza dough. "Restaurant" for those who are not demanding, choose the daily menu.
03/04/2024: Even if the prices are correct, the quality of the products really leaves something to be desired, as well as the quantities... I had a pizza... Dough too thick, soft and with a taste of flour... The service.. .we are served pizzas before we are ordered?!?.. they bring us the dessert menu even though they are already ordered?!?...
Maybe I had a bad day...

04/04/2024: I'm writing this comment live from the store, a little too quickly perhaps.
I arrived about thirty minutes before the store closed at 7:30 p.m. in order to do some quick shopping, not yet knowing the store I actually took a little time to do them.
From 7:45 p.m., the security guard started following me closely, heading towards the checkouts.
Would the hours have changed between the front door and the reality of the store?
I don't think so, should we remember to specify that the store closes at 7:45 p.m. and not 8 p.m.?
