18/07/2026: It had been years since I'd been back to this restaurant, and frankly, I wasn't disappointed. The portions are generous, the value for money is truly excellent, which is becoming rare these days. The service is top-notch; the waitresses are very friendly, professional, and welcoming. A great place that I recommend without hesitation!

But there was a lack of warmth, both in the service and the atmosphere; the minimalist decor didn't make me feel comfortable.
But I still recommend this restaurant! The food is excellent.

Very kind owner, clean and nice rooms, fantastic restaurant...I'll be back.

I was so happy to find a vegetarian restaurant (with vegan options!). It was beautiful and very tasty.
I would definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again.
04/08/2026: At first, it seemed quite pleasant, but the atmosphere quickly became peculiar, even unpleasant.
The owner commented on every single choice, felt entitled to demand politeness, even though we were being polite ourselves, though it seemed to be a one-way street. Not a "please" for the bill, nor a "thank you" after paying, but we didn't ask for it anyway ;)
The food was simplistic and the service a bit slow; the value for money was poor.
Regulars are probably well received, but for those just passing through, it's not the same at all.
But there's enormous room for improvement :)

27/08/2026: The service was decent, with the option to eat outside. The interior is also nicely decorated. The crepes are good and offered at prices that remain reasonable these days. I especially appreciated that the savory crepes are still affordable: a good strategy, as it makes you more tempted to order a second crepe for dessert!
20/08/2026: It's delicious, the recipes are original, not too much, not too little. You want to try everything, and the cider is very good.
The staff is friendly and welcoming—the icing on the cake.

03/08/2026: The guys are super friendly, I recommend this beer establishment, specifying that it's very good, the best bar in Saint-Jean-d'Angély.
07/06/2026: Just passing through while visiting the city. Friendly and courteous waiter. Very tasty IPA 🍺. Plus, it's the only place on the street open on Sundays, which is a nice touch.

04/08/2026: Appalling long wait for cashier. Only 2 tills open at 13.50hrs on a Tuesday. There were at least 5 or 6 people waiting at each till, most with trolleys full. No attempt made by staff to open any additional tills. They can spend money on increasing the size of the car park but not staff to provide to work on the cash desks. Supervisor walked around no apology.
Just seen the prompt reply from Leclerc. I can assure you there were only ever two cash till open plus the self service. Our cashier swapped over whilst we were waiting in the queue, so could their data be misinterpreted and showed that two cash desks were open when there was in reality only one.
04/08/2026: Only one checkout was open at 2 PM today, and 20 shopping carts were waiting.
