Les Jacobins sur Saint-Jean-D'Angely

It had been years since I'd been back to this restaurant, and frankly, I wasn't disappointed. The portions are generous, the value for money is truly excellent, which is becoming rare these days. The service is top-notch; the waitresses are very friendly, professional, and welcoming. A great place that I recommend without hesitation!

The winning combination!!!! At a restaurant, what's on the plate is very important, and here, the pizzas are delicious. The option to order them in a smaller size is a bonus. The welcome is prompt, warm, and efficient. The service is simply perfect: attentive, intelligent, and just the right amount of professional. Don't change a thing! 😉 The value for money is quite fair. Everything is very clean and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, I had the opportunity to attend a "last drink with the team" to celebrate a birthday. What a pleasure to see such team spirit! I can imagine there must be some tough times, but well done to you all! Thank you again; I highly recommend this establishment!

From a culinary standpoint: excellent food, generous portions, quality ingredients expertly prepared by the chef and his team. A wide selection is available on the menu itself. Several set menus are also offered. My only complaint is the noise from other customers, but this obviously doesn't factor into my overall opinion, and there's not much the establishment can do about it. Finally, the staff is warm, friendly, and attentive to requests. Highly recommended!

Excellent restaurant, very welcoming, and the portions are very generous. The tagliatelle alla spaniola is superb. The burgers are enormous and come with homemade fries. The pizzas are also very substantial. I recommend their cocktails and the charcuterie and cheese platter. Very good quality, quantity, and price. There's an indoor dining room and a terrace overlooking an interior courtyard; it's best to book in advance.

We had lunch at Les Jacobins; the staff were incredibly welcoming, the food was excellent, and it was great value for money. A really great place!
