I see it as nothing more than a stereotypical pun, and I urge you to change the name out of respect for the Asian community. I wasn't the only one among my acquaintances who was shocked. The "-g" at the end of Charenton is clearly superfluous and only reinforces the stereotypes, which I find deplorable. If you don't see the problem, I invite you to explain the origin of the name and why it seemed appropriate for an Asian restaurant. At best, it's clumsy of you.
