04/02/2024: A real disaster, we book for 3 people on a Sunday, two menus, one at €27 and another at €33, we try the most expensive menu which offers scallops, 20 minutes to be served a martini, at After half an hour we were told that there were no scallops, knowing that the orders were taken at the same time as the order for the aperitifs... So we offer you shrimp fritters... Cheap, worthy of an all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurant, 4 shrimps, well until then we say nothing, piece of veal on the dish, piece of veal overcooked, not even a knife to meat with millassou garnish not cooked inside completely burnt on the outside with a taste of '' we cooked something before in the same pan just before... We point this out to the waitress who reports it to the chefs, yes apparently there are 2 for 12 people... The wine is almost 10€ more expensive than elsewhere... Dessert we offer you desserts from the menu at 27 knowing that 'we took menus at 33... Moelleux au chocolat... Hummm yum, a poor bitter chocolate brownie out of the freezer 🥳😭🤮 Arriving at the cash register we express our dissatisfaction for the umpteenth time, ''the boss offers you an aperitif'', ok but not out of the question that we pay this price for shit... '' wait, I'm going to ask to the boss, he's taking a nap...'' Well ok we'll give you a menu worthy of a self-service meal at 27 instead of 33... Ok but hey... And you didn't pay for the cook to take out the trash in front of you in a room where there are barely 6 poor tables. In short, an experience to live, to be able to say that in the end this restaurant scores itself to raise its average 😂 33 € 🥺🥺🥺, we still expect to have quality cuisine and local products at this price Don't be fooled, move on Oh yes, what about the toilets? I'm a man and when you have to pee standing up with your legs apart so as not to have your feet in puddles of pee on the floor, it's not great...

20/10/2023: Very good experience, very good value for money. the children were happy. the desserts were very generous, especially the profiteroles. This is the 3rd time I've come, I plan to come back next season.

15/03/2024: What a great discovery... Passing through Brive-la-Gaillarde, we just wanted to eat quietly and go to rest... And now we discovered the "Pizza Break" via the internet comments... The statement is spot on -you: what a nice break! The choice of pizzas is great and from the first bite: you feel that the products are fresh... Besides, I was playful by trying a calzone with extra potato, certainly it was plentiful but what a pleasure to end up satisfied and satisfied... In terms of reception, no fuss, it’s direct, sincere, simple; the managers give us the impression of being at home. They don't hesitate to share with you the passion for their job, their daily life and how they work as a family if you take a few minutes to start the discussion... (my wife loved the place near the stove ;o) Too bad it's so far from Nantes and our place to return... We recommend the burger pizza (special mention for our son).

08/04/2024: Very nice setting, however a somewhat cold welcome, and the waitress doesn't seem to appreciate the children. Many did not have enough to eat, but the dishes were very interesting. Fortunately, the end of the meal was enhanced by a few songs from the cook.

07/04/2024: Excellent restaurant. Very well presented plates with varied compositions. Fine and sought-after work. Quality products. Very nice to have an attentive waitress and to be able to chat with the chef.

29/02/2024: I've done the Paris - Figeac trip many times. You're at the mercy of the SNCF for far too long. I decided to break my trip this time. It was the right decision. Straight off the train, across the road and you're home. There was a warm welcome and a clean modern room. I've written up the restaurant in the previous post. Perfect!
