13/07/2026: Passing through town on a Friday evening, practically at closing time, the owner didn't hesitate to seat me at one of his tables. He served me a generous meal, with a drink and dessert, from a wide selection of menus, for a very reasonable price. The restaurant was clean, the service welcoming, and there were smiles despite the late hour.
So: don't hesitate to stop by if you're hungry or thirsty.

11/07/2026: Best place to eat in France. Very clean, meticulously done. The food was wonderful and the price was affordable.
Not to mention the impeccable service; they went out of their way to speak our language and gave us the best possible service.
We need more places like this in France.

12/07/2026: Absolutely a disaster! We arrived the day before closing time and the food was clearly very poor, especially the pizza (which was all pre-made). We left disappointed and hungry. Let's hope the new owner will change all of this.
03/07/2026: Avoid at all costs. Appalling service. Casual attitude and lack of respect. When it came time to pay, we learned they only had burgers and pizzas left because they'd sold the place and were closing. Good luck to the new owners, and consider putting up a "Under New Ownership" banner 😉 if you want customers to come back.

28/06/2026: Very disappointed with the pizza kiosk in Egletons. We used to eat there regularly; the pizzas were tasteless and not very generous. We won't be back.

buffet froid: uniquement constitué de produits industriels,
repas servi: frites molles et imbibées de gras, burger avec un pain mou impossible à couper au couteau et garniture grasse.
Par contre le buffet petit déjeuner est correct.
Personnel sympathique.

14/08/2024: What a delight! I found this place by chance and was eventually very grateful for the lady who stole my parking spot earlier! it forced me to keep on driving and pass by this hidden gem. I found a convenient spot to park nearby, and my friends and I sat on the cute terrasse, across the street from the restaurant. A young man attended to us, and we were very pleased with the overall experience. Super friendly staff, and the most amazing food at a great price too. 17 euros for a three course meal! unbeatable!! I am vegetarian and it's not easy to get good food (let alone GREAT food) in the French countryside, but I had the most delicious meal, starting with a delicious cold beetroot soup, a salad and a coconut cake. My friends got a fish dish and loved it. They said it was very fresh and so juicy, as it was cooked "en papillote". For dessert they had the tiramisu and it was to die for. Seriously?! how can such a tiny, unassuming place serve such scrumptious food at such a good price?? I highly recommend the detour, if you are in the area. It is well worth it.
