The welcome was very warm, and each table received special attention.
The staff is very professional, yet has a great sense of humor.
The setting is very pleasant.
The cuisine showcases local products beautifully; we thoroughly enjoyed it! The food was delicious and plentiful.
I highly recommend this establishment.

03/03/2026: The saleswoman ignored our questions and requests about the menus, as she was busy discussing things with her colleagues, who seemed more important to her than us customers. As for the young waiter, he seemed indiscreet, even impolite, laughing and mocking the customers.
There were no options available upon request.
The team and the service really need improvement. There was a mistake with the dessert and the flavor, and our questions weren't answered. The rating is high for the price, quantity, and selection. We wouldn't recommend this establishment to people passing through or visiting La Souterraine. It's better to go to restaurants with set menus nearby or to an artisanal bakery.
Disappointed.
13/02/2026: New waitress, you're nice, but your colleagues didn't put a box around the donut 🍩 to keep it from sticking to the packaging, and I was so annoyed, but oh well, mistakes happen

04/03/2026: A very good experience at the Brit Hotel Restaurant Alexia. The dishes are homemade, beautifully presented, and generous. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in the kitchen.
The service is pleasant and efficient, with a welcoming and professional team. It's always a pleasure to come for lunch or dinner in such a friendly atmosphere.
We highly recommend this restaurant for its quality cuisine, good value for money, and warm welcome.

The welcome depends on the owner's mood; she's constantly making comments.
For a year we went there every week, and now she's closing the double curtain on the window at our table. Eating in the dark is not for me.
10/01/2026: I really like this establishment because the welcome and friendliness are always there... despite the mess we've been stuck in for far too long, kindness, quality, and courtesy are always guaranteed. It's a very good place, which I absolutely recommend to polite, unpretentious people who appreciate simple pleasures.

01/08/2024: De retour de vacances ... sur l'autoroute ... on cherche une halte pour dejeuner pas loin, et ... on tombe sur une pépite !
Déjà au téléphone, une voix joviale et gentille ... qui prend réservation et donne la bonne adresse.
Et à l'arrivée, à Saint Priest la Feuille, un véritable coup de coeur qui vous fait oublier la fin des vacances et vous rappelle que c'est tellement génial ces petits restaurants de campagne ... !
Un menu entrée, plat, fromage,dessert, café et vin rouge pour ... 15,50 euros.
Et surtout, magnifique qualité des mets !
Pavé de viande : excellent (et quel morceau!)
La sauce au bleu : une tuerie !
Gratin de courgettes : à tomber à la renverse !
Frites : Miam !
Gâteau aux fruits rouges : trop bon !
Et les quantités sont là également (nous n'avons pas pu prendre le fromage ... trop copieux avant !).
Pour couronner le tout, sincère gentillesse de la patronne et des serveuses.
Vous l'avez compris, faites ce petit détour comme nous pour vous restaurer et passer un bon moment. C'est un devoir de faire vivre de si bons établissements ...
