25/08/2026: I came to Patapain last week for an end-of-day break, but I later learned that, in the standard farms where you buy your food, piglets have their tails docked and their teeth ground down, and sows spend half their lives in cages. Knowing this completely ruins my customer experience. Get involved like Columbus Café & Co and Pret A Manger.

13/09/2026: We discovered this place by chance. We were heading to Dax and stopped for lunch. We hadn't made a reservation, but they made room for us. What can I say? They were absolutely excellent. The menu was perfect. The surroundings are magnificent. Peace and quiet were guaranteed.
20/06/2026: Excellent end-of-season meal for our walking club. Very good meat, delicious chicken, and excellent duck breast.
Very well organized and the dining room was cool and inviting. 👍 I highly recommend this farm inn, La Fanole.

27/09/2026: I've been ordering pizzas from them for 20 years, always consistently good, perfectly cooked crust, nothing to complain about. But this second order was completely different: too much tomato sauce, not soft at all, no cheese flavor whatsoever. Very disappointed.
09/09/2026: Best pizzas in Périgueux, without a doubt, and the staff is incredibly friendly.
Deserves 10 out of 5 stars.

01/07/2024: Restaurant joli. Belle présentation des plats mais pas de choix le dimanche (1 menu imposé avec très peu de possibilités de personnaliser le menu : juste 1 choix sur le bol et 1 choix sur une tartine).
Très déçu par le service qui nous a apporté les plats chauds alors qu'on venait à a peine de nous servir le bol de chia (plat froid). Le temps de finir le bol, les plats chauds (toasts, brioche, l'omelette ) tout était froid. Aucun intérêt.
Même le chocolat chaud ( qui est joliment présenté avec un coeur de crème) a été servi à peine tiède.
01/07/2024: Excellent all-day American breakfast in the heart of Bordeaux. And good AC to boot! The egg toast with bacon and avo-toast are delicious although we north Americans prefer toast to actually be toasted but no one does in France. The pancakes are made fresh to order unlike many other places in Bordeaux. The cappuccinos are made with love. The French toast is to die for. My only complaint was the flat whites are a little too strong and need a little more micro-foamed milk. Be forewarned that all breakfast spots in Bordeaux serve only formule brunch on the weekends so you can’t order a la carte. You have to take the full brunch for 26€pp.
