28/09/2023: This was previously a lovely site that we enjoyed visiting twice a year, but we have been very disappointed by the changes since the new owners arrived. First of all, they changed the opening times of the restaurant that we used every evening during our two annual stays, one in June and the other in September. As they could not guarantee that the restaurant would be open weekdays during these months, we changed our stay to July, but as it is much more expensive we could only afford to stay once. last year. This year, the restaurant has changed in nature, the choice of menus has been reduced and the quality of the cuisine has declined. The person who served us was unprofessional and not very pleasant. We ate at the restaurant our first night and decided not to bother going back. Additionally, they squeezed as many units as possible into the available space by reducing the space of existing units. We had to park our car on the patio below our unit, which involved walking up and down a hill, and as we had been placed at the bottom of the site and are quite elderly, we had to use the car each time that we wanted to use the wi-fi (no longer available in the rental), the shop, the bar, etc. Last year we were both alarmed by the gradual changes to the site, so we only booked 3 days this year and stayed in Sarlat for the rest of our holiday, but unfortunately I don't think we would will come back one day.
