04/08/2026: I'm a neighbor of this restaurant, EJV, and I eat there occasionally. Their fried fish, whether carp or trout, is excellent, and what's more, it's real homemade fries, nothing frozen. And the staff—the owner and his wife—are very, very friendly.

09/08/2026: A wonderful discovery while looking for a restaurant on a Sunday evening in Isle-sur-le-Doubs. After walking around the village a bit searching for a place to eat, we stumbled upon Pizzeria Don Camillo. After seeing the menu outside, which immediately set the tone, and the well-maintained terrace, we went in to request a table for 6:45 pm. The owners gave us a warm welcome and told us they were fully booked. However, they had a table reserved for 8 pm and offered to serve us before that reservation arrived if that suited us. We were very pleasantly surprised by the responsiveness and professionalism of this very friendly young couple, who were especially well-organized in handling takeaway orders by phone, preparing drinks and dishes, all while welcoming customers to the restaurant, the terrace, and the takeaway pickups. Despite the restaurant being full, the owner continued to take reservations, offering to call customers back as soon as a table became available or to schedule a time for takeaway orders. It's worth noting that this couple goes the extra mile to ensure their customers are satisfied. A real success, as the homemade lasagna, vegetarian pizza, and ice cream they personally selected from a neighboring farm that we enjoyed this evening confirm their dedication, all in a very pleasant atmosphere. Well done, young couple! It's truly delightful to see such a close and passionate couple. A must-visit address, but be warned ⚠️ reservations are recommended.
