05/09/2026: The waiter and manager were rude and had a haughty look. The pita bread served wasn't really pita bread; it was defrosted bread with Kiri cheese. Avoid at all costs.
03/09/2026: Eleven of us arrived for drinks. Upon arrival, the waitress seated us inside, given the size of our group and the fact that we hadn't made a reservation, which we completely understood.
However, 25 minutes later, no one had come to take our order, or even ask what we wanted to drink. So we decided to leave. And again, no member of staff acknowledged us or even seemed to notice our departure.
I can understand someone going unnoticed. But a group of eleven people getting up and leaving the establishment without anyone reacting is still quite surprising.
Especially since the objective was, and I quote, "to bring in people to attract more people," as one of the waiters told us. It's a shame: getting customers in is one thing, attending to them once they're seated is quite another.
A rather disappointing experience, as we had simply come to have a good time and consume.

13/01/2026: Disappointing and far from authentic
Having spent a lot of time in Spanish tapas bars in Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg and Germany, my visit to Tapas Café Strasbourg was a real let-down.
The sangria tasted industrial, closer to boxed wine than something freshly prepared. As for the chipirones, they did not taste fresh at all — the texture and flavor strongly suggested canned or pre-packed seafood, not something cooked à la minute. This is simply unacceptable for a place presenting itself as a tapas bar.
Overall, the food lacked freshness, authenticity and craftsmanship. What you get feels generic and mass-produced rather than rooted in Spanish culinary tradition. Service was fine, but that alone cannot compensate for the weak quality of the food.
Atmosphere may work for a quick drink, but if you’re looking for real tapas, this isn’t it.

23/06/2024: On commande au bar, on nous dit qu’on va nous servir en terrasse mais on a attendu pour rien. Un serveur vient ensuite nous prendre la commande.
On a ensuite attendu 15 minutes pour 2 simples diabolos alors qu’il y avait pas grand monde dans le bar. Ils sont arrivés pas frais et sans glaçons (mais avec du citron attention)

Sont-ils du métier ( j’en doute )
Un scandale vraiment et je pèse mes mots
Point positif la cuisine est correct ( ce qui ne changera rien à la notation )
À éviter absolument si vous voulez qu’on vous mettent de mauvaises humeurs
Reconversion professionnelle à prévoir !!
