06/09/2024: I go there often, I take friends there, we are never disappointed. The pizzas are excellent as are the other dishes we ate there. The waiters and the cook take great care. I highly recommend Sylvie

01/09/2024: I really liked the atmosphere, the welcome and yet we arrived 15-20 minutes before closing. Super good and beautiful, you can see that it's homemade. And the prices are correct.

18/09/2024: Discovered at the bean fair, I hadn't made a reservation and they kindly found us a table for two. The staff is pleasant and available despite the crowds there were. The meal was good and delicious (visually too). If you go to Arpajon, I highly recommend it. I will come back to discover their menu, special fair menu when I go there.

17/09/2024: Friday the 13th in the middle of the Arpajon fair, L'Ardoise had thought big, dinner with a reserved table under awnings outside, we hesitated between taking off the jacket or keeping it on because we were far from the summer evenings. For the meal we were a little disappointed, apart from the foie gras as a starter although we had eaten tastier the last few times, the rest was worthy of a fair stand, the pork was too dry and tasteless, just lukewarm, little to no sauce, served with white beans, slightly tasty but arriving at the table cold, we had to ask again to reheat the plate. So out of the 3 people we were alone, my daughter had a great time but she didn't have the pig. I was expecting a pork cooked over a wood fire, I was disappointed. So in summary, in terms of value for money, the pork dish should have been closer to €16 than €22.50. Finality we enjoyed the foie gras, the champagne and the wine. But that’s already it, you would tell me. On the other hand, the service was impeccable, the 3 young people provided

08/07/2024: We stopped there with my wife on Friday market day to have a drink, pleasant terrace, very friendly team. We had such a good time there that after seeing the menu we stayed there for lunch, good food and good atmosphere. Very friendly boss and very reasonable price.

27/07/2024: Great place to eat home-made food. Portuguese owned, as I was told. Love the hamburger, but missed tasting the typical Portuguese dish that I saw on the tables, some kind of stew, I think. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

18/07/2024: (Order delivered by UberEat): I ordered a chicken Korma which tasted good. However, I found that the pieces of chicken used by the restaurant were not of high quality (1st price?) and in insufficient quantity compared to the sauce which is in astronomical quantity. It was more like a chicken Korma soup. I also note that I only found 2-3 pieces of almonds (very fine) in the dish. It's a shame. Besides, I didn't see any rice on the side. It was perhaps extra, which I find a shame compared to other restaurants where rice is included in the dish. This could have helped mop up the soup and get the most out of the recipe. Bitter experience, largely because of UberEat and its prohibitive prices. The dish remains good, but could be improved on the quantities.
